  1. Montana Cowgirl - I see you did your surgery with Dr. Rohrer, did you have insurance to cover it or did you pay cash? If you paid cash can I ask how much it cost you?
  2. I live in Bozeman. I contacted Dr. Rohrer in Great Falls, and he will do fills on MX patients, but only certain bands. My surgeon uses two bands...one that Dr. Rohrer can fill and the other is the Realize and I don't have a say in which band they use...Dr. Ortiz will use the band he feels is best, which I'm fine with. I'm trying to figure out what my options are for fills in Montana. I would think there was someone in Billlings??? If you can help that would be great!
  3. HI - I'm being banded 6/18/08 and currently live in MT. I found a doctor in Great Falls that will fill bands placed in Mexico - Dr Rohrer for $200/fill. But, he is the only one I've found, and I live 3-4 drive from there. Has anyone heard of any other doctors in Montana that will fill a band that was done in Mexico?
  4. Hi There - I have a surgery date set for June 18th with Dr. Ortiz in Tijuana, Mexico. I'm ready for this. I called Dr. Rohrer's office to make sure they can do fills since I'm being banded in Mexico, and they can. I was just wondering if anyone else in Montana has had the lap band procedure done by Dr. Ortiz? I hear he is one of the most experienced surgeons out there, which is one of the reasons I chose him. I also would like to hear how fills have gone for Mexico patients.
