  1. 89 lbs is great. Sorry your struggling a bit. Drink some protein shakes for extra protein. I drink Premier Protein Shakes. They have 30 grams of protein. Exercising is so important. Walking is great & working out at the gym will help as well. I'm sure you feel much better after losing 89 lbs. Keep taking those supplements. I'm 5 months post op & have lost 100lbs. I'm enjoying exercising again. Don't cheat on your diet. Good Luck to you
  2. Finally hit the 100lb weight loss. I feel great. People are beginning to notice the new me. I love all the compliments. Exercising everyday & it's getting easier. Love buying smaller clothes. I have another 100 to lose. Probably will take me a year. Looking forward to what the next year brings.
  3. Awesome. I'm off my insulin too. Day after surgery
  4. The main reason for no coffee is your stomach is very small. It doesn't absorb nutrients like it used to. That's why you have to take supplements. Caffeine deters nutrient absorption. I would stick to decaf tea & coffee for 4 to 5 months. It's tough to give up but I did it. No carbonated drinks either. Do what they tell you to do & you'll be successful. Caffeine also stimulates appetite
  5. I am 5 months post op & have lost 100lbs. Surgery is the best thing I've ever done. Hardest thing I've ever done too. Try Premier Protein Shakes. Chocolate is pretty good. 30 grams of protein. If you're able to exercise start. It will help. I walk 2 miles a day & workout at the gym. I just started drinking coffee after 5 months. They told me decaf only for 1 year. Stay the course. It will turn around. Hope it gets better

I still drink a protein shake daily & take all my supplements. I'm losing 10 to 12lbs a month. No stall. Don't cheat. Eat sugar free snacks. Eat lean protein & exercise. You can do this. Stay motivated. People can't believe how much weight I've lost. I've got another 100lbs to lose over the next year. Good Luck to you I hope you get back on track

  12. The only time I had dumping syndrome was when I ate 3 pieces of bacon with my breakfast. Never again. If it's greasy I can't eat it. No fried food or sugar. The fudgesicles don't bother me. Only 40 calories & taste pretty close to ice cream.
