Remember stalls are normal. They happen. Sometimes we lose fast, other times slowly. I'm in week three of a stall. I'm bad and weigh myself daily, but instead of being frustrated remind myself what I have achieved as well as the fact that even though the scale might not be going down my clothes are fitting better than they have in almost twenty years.
    Hang in there.

Waving hand as a food Network junkie (certain shows). Love Unwrapped, but have to be careful about the topic because head hunger is real. Watch baking competitions and those make me crave sweets. Then I remember that I can't cook do we're good, lol. Diners, Drive ins and Dives. Yum.
I do think it'd be interesting to have a show that focus on smaller portions. More Proteins, fewer carbs. This is where someone needs to come out with their own YouTube cooking show. If only I were creative and could cook...
My show would be pretty boring:
-costco meatballs. Pour small amount of marinade. Nuke them and place in single serving containers.
    -chicken breast, season, cook, eat
-steam in bag veggies. A whole bag will last you a week, lol
Honestly though, I'd like to see real dishes that one could make while feeding the rest of your family.

I'm 5'4" and started my journey at 268 pounds. I was sleeved in July 21, 15 and am now down to 178, 90 pounds gone! I will be honest and say that my thighs jiggle from the lose skin, as do my arms. My tummy is looking much better, but has its own stretch marks and scaring from 4 pregnancies. The weight loss can be seen in my hands, my collar bones, wrists, toes, etc as they are all slimming down. My boobs have sadly packed their bags and left me.
My doctor asked me to set a realistic goal, I said how about 150? He was fine with that. I can;t envision myself being "skinny", anything under 150. If it happens and I look healthy then so be it. If it doesn't and I'm maintaining it's ok too. I'm enjoying the novelty of wearing medium shirt sizes, and jean sizes that I haven't seen since the 90s.

Congrats on the loss! I'm 5 months out and 90# down. There are plenty of days when I don't see differences when I look in the mirror (naked or clothed), and others that I just say "wow"! I wore most of the same clothes for the first 50-65 pounds lost. I could see that they were baggy and people noticed, but they were still wearable. Purchased s few new items and felt amazing.
Aside from clothes it's the little things. I cross my legs and love it! I slide in/out of booths at restaurants, I have collarbones again. I look at my legs in some angles and am amazed they're mine, lol. Find the positive and things will come together.

Occasionally (like twice a month) I'll have a small glass of OJ. Small as in shot glass size. I drink it slowly to savor it. No problems unless I drink it too fast. One day I needed a drink and the only thing available was one of the kids juice boxes, way too sweet! Took my sip and passed it to a kids.

So im at a christmas party , at my best friends home. His wife who has supported me and I are talking about clothes shopping. I like talking about thrift shopping and my latest finds ( got a pair of dress pants, gorgeous ones, from goodwill the other day, 4.99, they were from Barney's of New York and had the tags still on them for 250 bucks retail....( yay me!)
Anyway, she tells me she has a few pairs of american eagle jeans that her son ( then 16) outgrew last year, and would I like them? SO of course i said sure! I never looked at the size i had already mentioned i was wearing 32 waist 30 inseam jeans that day. SO i assumed they were my size. My friend even laughed and said, man can you imagine wearing jeans my 16 year old son wore?
Now i only recently even tried getting into 32/30 jeans. End of november i was wearing 36/30 jeans, then 34/30 jeans a few weeks ago.
So the move to the 32's has been very recent. SO anyway, I get home later that evening and i look at the jeans.
The tag reads 29/30 . Of course i laugh and hold them up, they look like something ELmo would fit into. Straight cut by the way.
As a joke i throw a leg into them, and then the other.....
Yes you guessed it, THEY FIT! No not wonderfully. I wouldn't tuck in a dress shirt in em. But damn! i could wear em. Holy %$#k! Are you shitting me? People, just for reference, it was 1 year ago I was wearing 56's Now 1 year and 1 week later post surgery and Im able to fit into a 29 waist?
Yea i don't think I stopped smiling for several hours.
Heck i'm smiling now just thinking about it.

My in laws came over today for our christmas, and they gave me a very nice gift card to nordstroms ( which i have never shopped at ) and said to " buy something you wouldn't normally buy for yourself , to celebrate" ( my birthday was 3 days ago.) So im going to do a little shopping! ( with Nordstroms prices, it wont be much, but? it'll be fun!)
If it seems like i'm bragging, I apologize, i'm sure there's a little brag in there, but I wanted to say to those who are fighting the good fight and struggling....You can do this! I anxiously wait for your GOAL post! Keep all those NSV's coming.
They all add up and mean a lot. You can get there. Don't give up!

Four months isn't very long for your head to learn the new you. You've had how many years of looking at yourself in the mirror and seeing your "before" self. Your brain has to catch up before you learn to see yourself differently. Are you measuring yourself, say once a month?
Something else that can fool you is wearing the same clothes. Have you gone somewhere and tried on clothes, especially clothes that aren't made from stretchy knits or with lots of extra gathers, etc. for "give"? Try on a pair of jeans and a woven shirt and I'll bet you'll be surprised with how much smaller you really are.
You've made remarkable progress, own it and be proud!

I'm 5 months out and still take things easy. Everyday is different depending on what's going on. At dinner time I usually use a small dessert plate and eat a small piece of chicken, veggies, and if room a starch (usually potatoes or beans). Snacks are often string cheese, mandarin orange, or grapes. Breakfast 1/2-3/4 yogurt or two sausage links.
Today I went to lunch with my boss for Mexican food. I ate half of a beef enchilada (removed some of the tortilla), 3 chips, and a few tiny bites of rice. Took me about 30 minutes and I was at capacity. Last week we went for lunch at the Olive Garden. I had a some salad and was full. I ordered the mini spaghetti lunch and brought it home for the kids.
I try not to eat fast food too often. A panda bowl from Panda Express can last me a week. Half a taco at Taco Bell fills me up. At McD I eat most of a patty and toss the bun. At a sit down restaurant I split a meal with my husband and still have leftovers to bring home.
bread and I don't get along too well. A couple of crackers are ok, a slice of bread no. But as usual every brand/style affects me differently. I don't drink soda. I miss it, but can do without. I've taken a few sips from my kids juice box when really thirsty and found it too sweet and passed it on. Oj is ok in small amounts and slowly.
The important thing is to be patient and listen to your body. Not all foods will be tolerable.
