  17. Hello I had my surgery on Feb 26 and I have lost 61 lbs so far. I had no trouble during or after my surgery. I've been following the diet but I did cheat and had some chips and pizza not much but I deserve a treat here and there. I make sure I'm pretty close or over the amount of protein I need daily. Any suggestions on high protein snacks??? How many calories a day do you consume?? I try to stay under 800 I hope everyone is well!!!

  19. I have just hit the 50lb mark today. I'm so thrilled, emotionally I feel great but physically I'm still experiencing pain in my joints and there's been no change in my back pain. But maybe when I get to the 100 lb mark I may feel better. I'm 71/2 weeks out so I can't complain I'm enjoying being able to do some things I was unable to prior to my surgery. I wish everyone success!!!! Vicky
  20. Hello there Drinking Water was something I could never do. I don't know why there's not really a taste to it but it gags me. I use suger free drink mixes. Crystal light mixes and diet snapple the peach is the best. My tastes for certain foods have changed slightly I seem to want to eat eggs and bean and bacon Soup, weird but that's what I want. Lol Good luck Vicky
  21. I'm 7 weeks out and feeling pretty good. My surgery was almost pain free and everything went as planned. I had a great physician couldn't ask for anything else. I live in Ashtabula and had my surgery at Geauga Medical Center/Hospital. I have lost a total of 48 lbs, I exercise as much as I can or should I say when my lower back isn't hurting. My back is the main reason I had this surgery because I was getting to the point to where I wasn't able to leave my house due to the pain. I very happy with my progress so far and hope I continue to lose. Vicky
