  3. I am now one week post-op, and I have to admit that I am a bit tired of "sweet" pudding, Jello, Protein drinks. I tried cream Soup, but it makes me so incredibly thirsty! Does anyone know of any other savory thing I can drink at this point that won't be full of salt?
  4. @@JosieAppleHead How are you doing?

  9. Oh, yes! I had to do the same thing. My Dr. didn't require me to lose any certain amount of weight before the surgery, but he did say I could not gain even one pound. The 6 month program takes you through visits with a nutritionist, trainer, the Dr., and a psychiatrist. I sort of felt the same way you did in the beginning, but being this side of surgery, I can see the importance of those required visits. Believe it or not, those 6 months will fly by and you'll be ready for surgery before you know it! I hope all goes well for you!
  10. I had my sleeve done this past Wednesday. I went home Thursday evening. I have not needed any pain medication at all. I will go in to work tomorrow morning and stay until I get tired. I wasn't in pain, but I have been incredibly sleepy these past few days, even after sleeping 10 hours at night! I hope everything goes beautifully for you tomorrow!

  14. @@woo woo, Yes, I have layers in my hair and they do help. I have only started wearing it curly for the past 6 months or so. I will try the curling Iron, thanks! I am going to straighten it for the big day tomorrow...I don't want them to think they're operating on Shirley Temple! Thanks for the advise!

  24. I have always had short hair but have recently started growing it out. It is chin-length now and extremely curly (ringlets). Straightening it is such a pain, but I think it helps with making my face look slimmer. I am so worried about what my double chin is going to look like after I lose weight in my face. Have any of you dealt with a saggy under-chin? My surgery is tomorrow, June 10th. Your haircut looks really cute on you.

  26. How wonderful to hear your survival story! Enjoy this week of anticipation for the 15th. My sleeve is scheduled for tomorrow, and I am so excited! I may not be so happy this time tomorrow , but I'm sure that will quickly pass. God bless you in your journey!

  29. Hello, everyone! I am scheduled for a sleeve tomorrow morning, and I am so ready for this! It looks like there are a lot of June sleevers on here; I would love to find a journey buddy or two. I am 57, 5'6", 297# I hope you're all having a great day!
