UPDATE!!! my surgery has been moved to November 2...

I finally have my date. I'm bringing up the rear with November 30th.

I have been approved for surgery. My consult with surgeon is Sept 25. So I'm hoping g for October or November surgery.

Im from nova or triangle va to be exact. I was just approved today for vsg!!!! Im sooooo excited. I will be having my surgery at holy cross hospital in maryland. Dont know when yet but at least i know its happening. I have been crying all day. This has been a long six months.

Update! I emailed my nut yesterday and she said i was approved!!! I cant even begin to describe how amazing i feel. I will be vlogging about it on my channel this weekend youtube.com/bsbeautymix.
Now im waiting for a appt. To meet the surgeon

Thats great! One of the surgeons is out on maternity leave so i doubt my surgery will be in aug. Good luck

So today I had my last weigh in for my REQUIRED 6 month program through Kaiser Permanente for Bariatric surgery. By the end of the program you were to do a number of different things 1 which included to lose a certain percentage of weight. WELL..... I met the goal for the program and my case is now being forwarded to the board for review and approval. Im so excited I am done with the program and I am keeping my fingers crossed that I get approved.

Hi everyone, My name is Brittney and I am 25. I am 5'5 and my highest weight was 263, my weight at my first weigh in was 245 and I am 237 right now. I was required to reach 238 before the end of my 6 month program. I have Kaiser insurance and live in VA and july 20 will be my last class. I am hoping for surgery around august but i'm not sure how fast it will go. I have done all of the required testing, and studies that they asked. So now im just waiting to be done with the classes. It has been painful waiting, I am so ready for july to get here. I would love for to meet other people who are in this stage.
