Gas-X strips are my new BFF... between the protein shakes (I'm a little lactose intolerant) mixed with fresh salads and raw vegs, the gas REALLY gets me!

Job chosen. A much bigger step up than I was expecting - not sure whether I'm ecstatic or terrified.

So happy to step on the scale at my Dr.'s appointment. The norm was for me to decline in the past, lol! I have been relentlessly doing my work and following the plan.

sitting here thinking about getting the surgery but i am really scared i really have a fear of surgery and i really want it.

It is totally understandable @trueblue. I don't know how to tell you to work through it. It's different for everyone. Talk to your surgeon/team, family and/or whoever you go to for support. There are risks from surgery. HOWEVER, many - - many more risks of staying obese. We are here for you. I am almost 6-weeks post-op was terrified the entire pre-op period and almost freaked out right before I went under anesthesia... I got through it. The best decision I could have ever made. Take your time to work it out. It is your decision. Sorry for the long comment. Keep me posted.

Made it to the 250's today, 72 pounds down and less than 100 to go!

Happy about having my surgery - - Pre-surgery & past years, summers were a depressing time for me mentally and physically. Feeling truly BLESSED!!!
-
One month post-op today. 18 pounds down since surgery, 44.4 pounds total.
-
Feeling better and better each day - - it really does get a lil easier step by step... @pre-op, I thought that response was crap!
-
THANK YOU Smye, I feel sooo much better with you telling me this. I am taking all of my vitamins, resting when I can after a hectic day at work, kids, commute home but just am wiped OUT and then the guilt that I can't get anything else done. I beat myself up the way I did pre-surgery about doing more moving. NOW I understand and it makes so much more scense.

Thanks lauraellen80. I tried the turkey sloppy joe meat lastnight with some veggies. It was good, brought some with me today for lunch. I did crave (a little) the bun. Not a bread person but we had some honey hamburger rolls for them. I declined but everyone else enjoyed them. How are you coming along?
