  1. I'm back to work. I eat a 1/4 of a spinach and egg omelet in the am. A shake for lunch, string cheese for snack and refried beans with melted cheeses and sour cream and hot sauce for dinner. Then drink all day long. Been doing great and feeling great.
  2. I have been feeling good. Less energy but have already lost 27lbs. So hard to figure out what to eat and to make sure you have water wherever you go.

    April surgeries

Had the gb on the 15th and did great. Was walking about 5 hours after surgery. Only complication i had was nausea do to pain meds. I was extremely nauseous. I asked for tylenol only and felt better by the next day. Came home on Friday and still not using any pain meds. I constantly am sipping water. Eating sugar free jello and popsicles and broth. Went in the hospital weighing 277 released weighing 282 and As of today i weigh 269.

  5. i am fortunate i do not have a preop. I am not suppose to have anything by mouth starting 12am before surgery. I am completely nervous and feel like it is a dream cause i have been working on it since last June.
  6. I am lucky i do not have a preop diet. Just not eating after midnight before surgery. I had a friend who had a liquid diet and she googled everything on pintrest for bypass recipes. She went to a different dr than i did. I feel like i have researched everything for this surgery and still feel like im not prepared.
  7. I know. It feels like it is surreal. Do yall have preop diet to follow?
  8. Sooo excited, nervous and scared. Surgery day is one week and was wondering if anyone else had their surgery scheduled for the 15th and how you feel.
