  1. Actually no on the second one . I kept my caffeine level up. Also zofran for nausea can cause headaches.
  2. Anyone start having dull headaches after surgery. I’m not a headache type of person. I don’t have any blood pressure issues either?

  7. I’ve heard that. I’m looking to lose about 60 pounds. I had gerd and it’s refreshing not to wake up nauseous.
  8. Had my revision from sleeve to bypass Wednesday Home Thursday afternoon. No problems. Abdomen feels fairly sore at times. I wasn’t crazy about drinking plain water . I had bought a pack of those sugar free mix in water drinks and also sugar free popcicles. So far so good. I had Dr Foreman and the Surgery at Crestwood Hospital. They all were fantastic.

  10. Somehow the question took a left turn. I realize that people have different tolerance levels for surgery. I’m an rn x 30 years. I just wanted to get somewhat of an idea. After I had gotten the sleeve I felt like I was hit by a truck and that feeling lasted for 24 hours. After that it got better rapidly. I was trying to get a feeling if the bypass recovery is similar.

  21. Seriously thinking of canceling rny . My surgeons office said that I could get complication insurance when I first was quoted fees. I got a call friday saying that they made a mistake and said revisions were not eligible. If any major complications that occur will be out of my pocket. This could ruin me financially.
  22. I was just informed that my revision from sleeve to bypass will not be covered by bliss complication insurance. I just called my regular insurance. They said if I was discharged and something happens that is billed due to the surgery which they did not approve they won’t cover. Any thoughts? Anyone have the same issue? Anyone have a complication that wasn’t covered by insurance?

  24. Has anyone purchased Bliss complication insurance for self pay bariatric surgery and have you had to use it.
  25. I went to Crestwood this morning and they did make it right for me. They realized their mistakes in quoting me incorrect prices for the surgery. They made it fair for both parties.
  26. The surgeons fee is 5 grand. This is for a conversation to bypass
  27. I’m speaking with the only other Hospital in my area. Huntsville Hospital where I work. They are getting back to me in a few minutes.
