Hi All. I'm 5 days out post op. I must say I'm feeling pretty good. Outside of that the only pain I'm really experiencing is, my cuts on my stomach. Minimum pain. I've gotten my Protein Shakes from Sam's Wholesale, the name of them is Premium Protein. To say I'm not a big fan of NO SHAKES, I gotta admit, these shakes taste pretty darn good.........I actually like the chocolate flavor. It taste real good.

Hi All. Had my surgery on 4/29/15. Have some stomach pain. Protein Shakes working fine. Get tired kinda fast, not hungry AT ALL. Shoulder kinda hurting but outside of that, I'm doing Great. F I had to do it all over again, I WILL

Good morning. I too had the Lapband surgery back in 2006. I went from 298lbs. to 155lbs. It took about 9-10 months. Unfortunately my band protruded through my skin and busted through my stomach. I had to go thru emergency surgery to have it removed. Once removed, within 2yrs I'm back at 220lbs. But as I type this message I'm sitting here on my way to be SLEEVED......????????????????????????????????????????Yayyyyyyyy.............I refused to go back to Fatville.

Hi All, Well my NEW LIFE begins tomorrow????????????????????????????????????????????????????????I will b officially SLEEVED 4/29/2015. It's been a longtime coming and I'm ready. I'm actually not nervous at all and I did real well on my 10 pre-op diet. God is truly AWESOME for allowing me this life changing opportunity. I will keep u guys posted on my success. And trust me: I WILL B SUCCESSFUL.......with my weight loss.

2nd day on pre-op liquid diet. So far so good. I find myself getting a little bit hungry durning the late evening. But I have been eating the BROTH, and Popsicles and drinking water and tea. It's hard but I know it's ALLLLLLLLL WORTH THE STRUGGLE..........OOOOOOooooh but in the end. I'm gone be COKE BOTTLE fine????So CONGRADS to all the current and near future SLEEVERS. May GOD BLESS ALL OF US AND BLESS THE HANDS OF EVERY SURGEON THAT'S BEEN ASSIGNED TO US. All who are traveling, may GOD give US TRAVELING GRACE going and coming back....

Good morning ALL. I just love reading these success stories. They are so motivational. Congrats to all of you and your success into SLIM LAND. I'm being sleeved 4/29. And I cannot wait. They funny thing is I'm all to familiar with you guys success stories cause I was BANDED back in 2007 when I was 300lbs. I lost 150lbs and was BLOWN AWAY. Then 2013 my Lapband started giving me Major Problems and I had to have it removed. MAJOR SET BACK. Since then I've gained like 65lbs back and immediately decided it's time to take care of this little nasty problem once and for all. So I'm here, once again to tackle this weight. FINALLY for the last time. I'm looking forward to my success and I'll be stopping by in you guys S-LAND pretty soon. Keep up the good work

Hi Atix, I start my pre op liquid diet on Sun. 4/19. My sleeve date is 4/29. Can u please tell me how was your 1st day and what have u been eating to carry u thru the days. And I use the term EATING very lightly, LOL cause I know u only can have broth in that area. I been praying hard down here for strength cause the Lord gone have to truly step n for this task????????????

Hi Jennxh, your story is EXACTLY like my story. I had the Lapband done in 2007. I lost 150lbs. I got down to a size 6. The band pertruded through my stomach and I had to have it removed 2012. Since then I've gained 65lbs. MAJOR DISAPPOINTMENT and totally unacceptable. I have the same attitude as you also, I don't wanna hang out with friends like I use too. My sleeve date is April 29. And I can't wait to go back to where I was. I'm like super super BLESS to have this 2nd chance to get it right, and I plan to do just that, GET IT RIGHT. So good luck to you and your sucess and I'll definitely be popping in and out throughout my journey.

Hi All, I'm scheduled to be sleeved 4/29

Good morning. I'm also scheduled to go get sleeved April of next week in Tijuana, Mexico. Once again I'm excited with this not being my 1st time going. I've been before for the lap-band and lost weight good with it, up until the band port broke its way through my stomach!!!!!! I went cross the border by myself that time and I'll do it again if I have to. But this time will be my last time. That's why I choose the sleeve. I've gained 65lbs. back since I've had no restrictions over a 2 year period, and I refuse to go back where I came from in the beginning of this FAT journey. So I decided to get the sleeve and b done with all of this craziness. I begin this journey at 298lbs after Lapband and a year later I was 155lbs. Band was removed July of 2013 and I'm back up to 220lbs. Totally Unacceptable........LOL
