Hi anyone from Alabama?

Good luck! So excited for you. I am going on 7 months and I love my sleeve. NO complications but several stalls so don't freak out when you go thru it. Just part of the process.

I was sleeved on November 6, 2015 and I have lost 73 lbs. I have lost the last 3 lbs over and over for the last month or so. I stay so hungry all the time now. IS anyone else having these problems? I crave sweets all the time. Help!!!! I do not want to gain back what I have lost but I never thought I would be dealing with these issues so soon. Thanks.

I am washing my hair every 3 days and that is helping me. I do not even run a brush or comb thru my until the 3rd day. I just throw my head over and blow dry each day and use my fingers. it has really been helping. I don't stress so much now when I wash my hair and see how much comes out.

Oh my goodness!!!! How long will this stall last???? This is so aggravating to look at the scales now. I am losing maybe 1 lb every 3 weeks!!! I do not know what I am doing wrong. It is now 5 months should I be stalling like this! I lost majority of my weight the 1st and 2nd month every since month 3 it has been super slow!!!! Anyone else going thru the same thing I am? I just want to scream

wow I think I am going to like this part best of all about the sleeve. I stay hot all the time and pouring sweat when everyone else around me is fine. I cant wait to be cold ICE COLD FREEZING!!!!! lol I HATE going outside now because it is so hot and I work in an office and don't want to be all sweaty when I come back in. Thank ya'll I have something else to look forward to

It is so nice to know there are several people getting sleeved in Birmingham. I am using Dr. Dewitt and I hope I will be sleeved sometime in November or December 2015. I have already done my sleep study, I have to have 7 months of supervised dr visits which I am on #3 this month so all I have left is EKG and pysch visit left to complete. Hi everyone! I went to my 1st apt with the surgeon and he said I would be a good candidate for the gastric sleeve. My current weight is 249 and I'm 5'5 and 1/2. My bmi is 40 so I cannot lose any weight . Does anyone else have current situation?
