    No Sex? WTF

I am so sorry this is happening. I am not in the same situation, but its more of the opposite. My relationship with my significant other has changed since I have the surgery. I am the one not giving affection and attention in the relationship. Its not that I don't want to, but he has been nothing but unsupportive since I started this journey and wants to purposely sabotage me. He basically said the other night he likes the fat me, not this new me with more confidence. I am in the mode right now that I am planning my escape, and even mentioned to him that I am not happy, and the only things he talks about it how it will affect him and what he is going through. Good luck and I hope everything works out for you. We all go through these changes, but we need to be strong and get through them..with or without our men
  2. It started in my face first, and then I discovered the collar bone that I didn't even know I have. Right now its legs and some in the stomach, even though I still sometimes see the same person in the window, clothes sizes are dropping

  4. I always have to hold up my pants while walking up stairs and even sometimes when I am walking straight. I will take it for the less pounds I have I just make sure to always wear extra layers underneath so that if they do fall...well...at least they wont get a show!

    Diabeties

I starting taking insulin at night in January of this year, but have been diabetic since 2010. I started the program in March of this year, and had my surgery in June. I was 37 lbs pre-op and haven't had to take any meds or insulin since my surgery date. I have had two a1c tests since then, one three weeks ago, and I am still in the normal range and don't need to do anything. Good luck

    What is your full signal?

When I am at my full point, my stomach will make noises and tighten. If I eat anything else once it happens, I don't feel well and my stomach hurts

    Protein supplements success

You can also try quest protein bars if you are feeling the need to chew. They have 20-21g of protein in each one and very low carb. Good luck on your journey and make sure if you buy protein powder, don't buy the big containers. For me, I cant handle the liquid post op

    Husband rant

I think for most of us, relationships do change with the weight loss. My situation isn't as bad ad others, but I have noticed that my relationship with my significant other has changed since I had surgery. He was super supportive of me having the surgery, and even went to the pre-op classes and knew what I was going to be doing for the rest of my life, but somehow it didn't stick into his head after I had surgery. From the first day after surgery, he was already getting upset with me because I didn't want to share his drink, or even share his dinner with him ( he likes to share). He doesn't eat the healthiest, so most of the stuff he wants to share he cant have. Once I was able to eat solid foods again ( about 6 weeks) he is constantly arguing with me because I don't want to share what he is eating and he doesn't get it through his head that I cant eat that. So after all of that, our relationship has changed. I am not the same person I was 6 months ago, and I am almost certain that he is insecure and is scared that I am going to leave him. I have lost a significant amount of weight, dressing nicer and stepping up my game, getting noticed in public, and going to the gym a lot more than I did. At first I kept telling him that I am with him, however I am slowly noticing that I am drifting myself way from him. I am not doing it on purpose, but I am doing things to better myself and he is doing nothing to showing that he wants to do better, except for complain that I am doing too much. I am going out more with friends and being active because he doesn't want to. I finally had to tell myself, after being told by him that I am done losing weight, ( yea right! I still have more to go), that I am doing this for myself and he wants to go on this ride with me he can, and if not that is okay too. I kind of expected this to happen and if we stay together or not, I can say that I at least put an effort and am not upset if I lose him or not.

    strange fish question

I have always loved fish. I love making salmon. Its not a huge fishy taste because of what I put in it.I used lemon juice, garlic, onion powder. in the bottom of the pan I use a tiny bit of extra virgin olive oil and place the lemon juice in it..season each side. and cook for about4-5 min on each side.

    Pouch test, HELP?

http://5daypouchtest.com/plan/theplan.html Read this link above, it gives you some helpful tools for the 5 day reset. Good luck
  17. If you are having issues I would try the 5 day pouch reset first. First day Clear Liquids, 2nd day full liquids, 3rd day pureed, etc etc. I did 2 day reset on accident ( I was sick with the flu) and it helped me. I dropped 8 pds and feel my stomach smaller. Good luck

    Buying the wrong size?

I had the same issue this past weekend. I have gone down from a 5x to 2x and a 32 pants to a 24. I went to the local Kmart this weekend and saw some 4x shirts that were totally cute and only 2.00 a piece, so I bought them. I also bought a pair of 4x capris because they were on clearance for 3.00. Went home and put them on to see how they fit and they were wayyy to big for me. I told myself now even though they were on clearance that I shouldnt buy them. Its a battle everyday because I still see the bigger girl in the mirror. I know this will go away with time.. I guess I have new pajamas now lol

What Foods are Prone to Dumping Syndrome?

The only thing that has made me dump so far are baby raw carrots. Worse thing ever. Not to give too much TMI, but its a bad feeling when you are throwing up carrot and you can still feel it in your throat afterwards.. NO BUENO!

    Period after surgery- IUD ladies

OMG Yes. I had mine placed in 2011, and never really had once since then. Since surgery, I have had one and its horrible. You get all the regular symptoms of cramping and bleeding and I was like well hello friend you have returned

    chips for salsa?

If you had RNY, please be careful about eating raw carrots. I am 8 weeks out and that was the worse thing I could ever eat and my first dumping experience. I have gotten these veggies chips. They are vegan and very low carb. They are in a green page and say veggie chips: Kale, Spinach and Carrot. I found them at Sprouts, Safeway, and Winco. Good luck and just remember to chew chew chew

    Food stuck in pouch!

I would also try some Water and see. usually when something is stuck, it comes back up within 5 min. Or lay down for a big, that might help. Good luck
