I eat 1 scrabble egg and cheese everyday for breakfast and I am 4 weeks out.

Thanks yall! I hate to fill drugged so i only took my pain medication for a couple of days even after being cut open. However, I am three weeks today but my legs hurt so bad and I don't know what else to take. I did take 1 tylenol but it did not help. My doctor is out of town until next month.

How soon after your surgery did you take tylenol? My muscles hurt and I don't know what to take.

I hope your first days back to work go ok for you. I have also had a headache. I think it goes with the territory. I am glad there is end in sight. I am ready for some energy for sure. Thanks!

Hi I had surgery on 8/28. My Dr basically gave me no guidence. I was to that I could also have tuna with a little mayo and saltine crackers. Good luck to you!

Does the popcorn not get stuck in your pouch? I was told that I could never have popcorn again that it does not digest well and will get stuck. That would be fantastic in a few months to have popcorn . It will be awhile as I am only going on three weeks post op.

I was just feeling that way the other day but just think of the end result. I will be 3 weeks on Friday. I prepare meals for my kids and try and seat down with them while they eat. I will have my cottage cheese and they will have whatever is on the menu. It doesn't seem as bad that way. Good luck!

Hi I'm 8 days out and am down 14 pounds. However, I have absolutely no energy. I was cut open and had 38 staples which were removed day 5. My doctor said I could eat whatever I wanted to but take it easy. I haven't really done that though. I am having such a horrible time getting my protein in. When will I feel normal again? I just want to sleep and I can't do that with three babies.

I am doing ok. I had my staples removed yesterday. Just trying to make sure I get all my protein in. I am sore but I think that is because my cut is so big. Thanks for asking.

Congrats! Hang in there! My surgery is tomorrow.

My surgery was moved up to this Friday the 28th. I am so nervous and excited all at once. I have only had to do a day and a half liquid diet because I just found out about the surgery move up at lunch today. My surgeon is not doing it laproscopic. Has any body else had it done this way? Also does anyone want to be surgery buddies?

After three denials I finally got approved! Surgery is September 1! So excited! Anyone else?

After a third attempt I will be having surgery on September 1st! Good luck and keep trying!

I am also self paying for bypass and will have it within a month. I find my day out next Monday. I can't wait! Good luck!

Thanks yall! I have another appointment on the 10th of August. I have a hernia with severe reflux so that will be covered and I should only have to pay for the bypass. We will see if that works.
