  1. They didn't say. My bmi is 38.6 but I have pre diabetes, lupus, severe arthritis, and my mom died at 52 from the samd things I have going on. But they said my arthritis was not bad enough. I know I need to get healthy for my kiddos though
  2. I was wondering if anyone else self paid? I was denied twice for my surgery. I have done all the pre op but everything stopped when tricare denied me. If you self paid with bypass what was your cost? Thank you!
  3. Congrats to you as well! I feel like it is taking forever!
  4. Hi I am Jennifer and today I completed all my prerequisites. I am so excited. I am waiting on all my doctors notes to come back cleared and hopefully within two weeks I will have a surgery date for May. Is anyone else looking to have surgery in May? I am having RNY.
  5. Hi I am Jennifer. I am 31 years old with a Bmi of 36.9. I had my first appointment yesterday and already made my follow up appointments. I should be having RNY by the end of May. I was wondering if anyone could give me any insight I what to expect through this process.
  6. I have my first appointment tomorrow and want to do bypass because the sleeve is not covered. I have 75 to lose. I think in the end it will be worth it.
