  4. Hi guys! I had Gastric Bypass surgery on September 1st. I am 30 pounds down (since the start of my 2 week liquid, so 15 pounds down since surgery) being 3 weeks out, I am on "puréed/soft foods". I am really struggling now that I am fully recovered from surgery and back into the real world. I'm 19 years old, in college, and work part time. I am struggling with not just going and getting Chipotle before class or eating something where I work (Cheddars Casual Cafe, it's a restaurant). I've followed the rules pretty well up to this point (except I had Macaroni and cheese but I didn't know it wasn't allowed until my NUT told me it wasn't) but today all I could think about was Oreos after watching a girl eat some in my class. When I got home I ate 2. I feel so awful about it. I'm worried about when I go back to normal foods, being so young all my friends do is meet each other for dinner. I'm scared I'm not gonna be able to control myself or eat the right things, I just feel like I can never go out to eat again or something. I guess I don't know why I'm posting this, just venting.

  6. Awe thank you so so so much ❤️❤️ it's been hard but I'm following my diet to a T! I have a photographer in the family so I'm going to the studio to have monthly pictures taken! I had my first before my liquid diet and the day before surgery so I'm excited to do my next one and see where I am! It's hard to be so young though because all my friends go out to eat or have cook outs and I can't eat anything right now

  10. Thank you "Skinny Steps". It's going to be hard but worth it for sure.
  11. Hello everyone! I just had Gastric Bypass surgery September 1st 2015 and it's the 6th. I went through my two week pre op liquid diet and didn't have any trouble at all! Was I hungry? Yes. Did I cheat? No. And I did just fine on my clear liquid diet the day before and 2 days after surgery. But here I am back on the same liquid diet and I'm really struggling. I am constantly thinking about when I'll be able to have "real food" again and am really "worried" about what foods I can and can't have. It's becoming an obsession. I haven't cheated yet so I guess in my head thinking about it is better than cheating but it's making me miserable! I know this is all head hunger and I'm actually not hungry but I am craving so many things! Ps I am 19 year old college student who works part time so I am constantly on the go. So the pre op gas station bag of chips and red bulls still are big at the top of my cravings. *** I am also worried about eating out.
