Nice little story there. Unfortunately, we are all slaves to our own choices. I definitely make no excuses for the bad choices I have made in the past. I guess I got to a certain point where I decided that I want to at least experience a life that was always just out of reach for me because of my weight before I die. But I wouldn't feel right imposing that on someone else, because at the end of the day, it's a very personal decision.

NB are great shoes, but my favorite are Brooks. They are a little pricey but well worth it in my opinion. They come in extra wide width. One of their models (addiction walkers, I think) I hear are quite good. But my go to shoe for the past 5 years or so has been the brooks beast actually.

Hey, I get it. There's nothing more un motivating than not seeing the scale move (or barely move). I've been there. But this is where moxy comes in. You gotta dig deep and ask yourself how bad do you want it? If the answer is DAMMIT YOU WANT IT then you work that much harder to get it! You can do this! Keep us posted!

The scale that I use is a talking scale that announces my weight. I don't care for that feature but this was the only scale I could find at the time that supported my ample proportions. Over all, it works fine. But I dread the point where my weight locks in and it begins to mockingly announce my weight to the world. Folks.....I feel like an ass that folks may think that I believe that people who have WLS surgery are lazy. Please know that is not the case. Far from it. I'd probably knock somebody out if they called me lazy right now with the stuff I'm working through.
I am only going through a small fraction of what others have detailed they are fighting through.
I should have been more clear. Sometimes what I think I'm typing and what actually comes through are different things. The laptop is great. The pad is another beast entirely.
It is a true blessing indeed.
