  1. HW 378 SW 333 CW 243... 90lbs since surgery 135 total. I wasn't taking in enough calories for my exercise regimen. Since I've adjust the weight has come off faster.
  2. I ate a couple bites of my kids funnel cake the other night, I paid for it for hours. I think because it was kind of doughy. Idk but I learned my lesson!
  3. Boo looks lIke we're all in the same boat. I like to think of it as our muscles tightening/getting stronger as we become more active lol I'm an optimist.

    First Soft Food?

Refried beans!!! I hated them preop but I'm obsessed with them now!! I have a tbsp with some 2% shred mex cheese nom nom nom I can also have scrambled eggs, I like mine soft scrambled so that's a yummy choice for me, also with a sprinkle of 2% cheddar cheese.

    Weight loss

See I'm really getting discouraged. I was on clear liquids for a week and a half post op (sleeve couldn't handle shakes until day before yesterday). I can still only have MAX a 4 oz shake 3 times A day. I'm staying hydrated and in almost 2 weeks I'm only down 13 lbs. I feel like it should be more. I'm up and active every day, even with barely taking in those calories. I just hate getting frustrated so early.
  6. I have a temporary room also, it's actually my 4 year olds room and he is quite enjoying the company lol. Not everyone will have the shots, I just had 1 before surgery and one after. It's something to ask your doc about. But basically. Launder everything from clothes to linens and organize your post op area if that makes sense. All my Jello sand broths are separate and organized away from everyone. Pack your hospital bag, toiletries and chargers and creature comforts. But do make sure you have your other meds for pain, stomach coating and whatnot befor surgery.

    Getting sleeved in the morning!

Can I just say how jealous I am of you guys on purees. My surgery ended up starting about 1 on the 23rd and I'm a full week clear liquid, 2 weeks full liquid, then purees!

    Any April Sleevers?

I'm having difficulty getting over the exhaustion of not getting many calories. Pain is better down about 10lbs I think, my scale is going a bit wonky. But I'm 5 days out and the pain is much better.
  11. You run the risk of your surgery becoming an open procedure, rather than laparoscopic. Your doctor has to retract your liver and if he feels based on your bmi you'll have a very rigid, fatty liver to protect to he may open you up. Or postpone all together but that's ONCE YOURE OPEN. Call your doctor before surgery. If this was a will issue maybe now wasn't the right time for you to start this journey. It's a serious commitment.
  12. @@FlabbyNat I read that with PCOS or hormonal related facial hair there is 78% resolution with the surgery. I'm hoping that's true and I'm in that 78%.

    My Surgery is on Thursday!

Let's talk about our vitamins. I went with the nascobol (sp?) they are billed through my insurance, $25 bucks a month no fuss, but the calc and multi are making me sick. Like I took them for the first time today and today was the first time I threw up. They aren't hard to take, they don't taste bad and I don't throw up when I take my crushed regular meds. Any ideas or recommendations. Also I've moved past the post op constipation phase into the never trust a fart phase. Day 2 = rough.

    My Surgery is on Thursday!

No nausea meds for me but thankfully I've not had to deal with that too much. I was up at 2 and 6 for pain meds but at 6 I passed SO MUCH gas, I'm feeling a bunch better too. Yay us!!!

    My Surgery is on Thursday!

Girrrlllllll the gas JUST started moving up and man, I keep checking my O2 and doing my spirometer bc it truly feels like there is an elephant on my chest. I don't get it either because just walking around the house is exhausting.
