Awesome. I am getting close. My goal weight is between 215 and 225. I'm 228 right now. I signed up Wednesday for a last min 5K at Angel stadium this weekend. I am enjoying these running events. Looking forward to the Star Wars race at Disneyland in Jan.

I posted this in the "other" thread, but I'll share here as well.
I am a little over 7mo into this. However here is a pic that was from Oct 2014 vs Oct 2015

Today is my first day back at work after been off for 7 weeks (Wife just had our 2nd child). I had to buy all new work clothes as what I was wearing was way too baggy
Selfie in the bathroom mirror at work this AM - 17" neck dress shirt and 36" pants

in comparison this one was at the 5mo mark - 19" neck dress shirt and 40" pants

I am currently 16 days post. I would like to say all has been well, but that’s not the case. The first week I was feeling pretty good. Then I started getting pain tummy area above the incision were the majority of the swelling was located. Dr checked for Fluid (via needle) and didn’t locate any. He equated the pain to the swelling going down and nerves firing back up. This went on a couple days and my right side swelling is all but gone, but the left still hurt.
Fast forward to Christmas Eve (Sunday) and I was hurting a little more. I was also getting the chills. Christmas Day I was pretty run down and tired. When I showered that afternoon before heading over to the in-laws I noticed my left side was pretty pink and I knew something was up. Luckily I has a follow up first thing Tuesday morning. The Dr again checked for fluid and this time found some. The fluid was clear which is a good sign as a full blown infection hadn’t took place. However it would have gone untreated. I got in intravenous antibiotic shot and a Rx for more antibiotics.
Its been a little more than 24 since the shot and I already feel much better. The area is less pink and some of the swelling has gone. I have another follow up appointment tomorrow morning.
On a positive note the “boob” job turned out really well and no issues other than the swelling which is still present and image will be for some time still

The procedure went well and last about 4 hours. Dr said he removed about 10lb of excess skin. I am less then 48 hours post-op and feel pretty good. The majority of the discomfort is from the Abdominoplasty. Dr said I bled a lost even though I avoided aspirin, etc 2 week prior. I was pretty weak yesterday but sipping on good ol Protein Shakes and lost of rest have helped.

OneDollarBill reacted to BigViffer in 14 months post-op struggling: discipline/motivation/support/energy
I am not good at mushy support, so please read everything I say as advice and not "tough love", for that is not my intent.
You are only lacking in one thing; determination. Support is nice, and motivation makes it easier; but doing something that is hard and something that you don't really want to do takes determination. I get it, you're tired at the end of the day. Or you don't want to get up early in the morning. Or you want to spend lunch time unwinding. You don't want to go to the gym because it is intimidating. Someone might look at you, laugh at you, or think something derogatory. Someone will be better at yoga or there will be a group of friends already there and you will feel excluded.
All excuses. Make a resolution to do the things that are uncomfortable but necessary. Your boyfriend doesn't want to go? Leave him home. No friends to meet at yoga? Make new ones with the people that are there by showing your determination to do these things.
I can come up with a laundry list of things that I would/could/should be doing besides exercising. I frequently go to bed at midnight because the time after work is taken up by parents, in-laws, and teenage daughters. But after 20+ years of making excuses led me to poor health. Weigh your food, log your food, make it habit. Make your accountability be its own reward. Don't let the little things distract you from the one thing that is most important. Your health.

I drink one or two diet cokes per week. My surgeon does not believe it stretches the pouch and I have researched it - it looks like many are divided on this subject so it’s best to talk to your medical team.
I go slowly, and if I get gas I just burp it out. I did not try it until about 3 months out.

It's that time of month when this topic come up again. Hold on let me get my pop corn
That being said. Yes I drink it. Maybe 1 or 2 cans a week. I do not drink it straight from the can. I always pour over ice. Yes I also enjoy the occasional beer. Again I drink it from a glass (which is the proper way anyways).
I'm not going to get into the Dr. discussion. I have talked to him about it.

I like them a lot. I replicated the Starbucks egg white ones with the peppers. The texture is not as firm but close. At least with making my own I can mix up ingredients to suit my cravings.

Diet Snapple Half & Half is one of my favorites. I drank that and a lot of Vitamin Water Zero with Benefiber added to it in the beginning and through goal. Come to think I haven't had a Snapple in a while. I guess I will add that to my grocery list this week.

I will be curious about this as well. The majority of my loose skin is in my gut. I was approved by my insurance today for a panniculectomy with Add-On abdominoplasty as well as the Gynecomastia to take care of the moobs.
