I thought it would be good if we shared Protein shake recipes. That way we could try new things to make Protein shakes taste better.
Apple pie shake
8 oz. Water or unsweetened almond milk 1/2 scoop unflavored Protein powder, 1/2 apple powder from Mott's, 4 tsp of Torani brown sugar cinnamon sugar free Syrup
Key lime pie shake
8 oz Water or unsweetened almond milk or skim milk, 1 tsp of sugar free lime Jello powder, 1/2 scoop unflavored Protein Powder, 3 tsp of lime juice
Orange creamsicle shake
8 oz water or unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1/2 scoop Protein powder, 1 tsp of sugar free orange Jello powder
Peach pie shake
4oz unsweetened vanilla almond milk, 1 scoop unflavored or vanilla protein powder, 1 tsp of sugar free torani peach syrup, 1 tsp sugar free torani brown sugar cinnamon syrup

My surgery is May 19 and I'm super excited! Congratulations on your surgery date!

Well it's been 4 days and I think I've gotten through the worst of it. Day 2 was horrible. I was so hungry, but I made it through. I have found out that it's a habit of mine. Just grab something because it's there. One thing I found out is when I'm preparing food for someone else and I made a mess or had a taste of something. I would just lick my fingers. Now I wash it off my fingers. Lucky you that has ten days of shakes. I have a month. On a funny note, last night I dreamed I ate a brownie and then I realized I couldn't have them. Immediately I spit it out and threw it in the trash! Thank goodness it was only a dream! Lol! ????????

I can't wait to sit on the loser's bench. I only have 6 more days!!!

My date is the 19th too. I've been taking Biotin for years because my hair's thin too. It definitely helps it grow. So new growth fills in pretty quick. I was told by a friend and my dietitian to get 80-90 grams of Protein daily. My friend had the bypass and followed the rules and never lost her hair.< /p>

Congratulations on your date! My surgery is May 19th. This is my fourth week on a strict pre-op diet. So far I've lost 22.5 pounds. I'm glad you've joined us.

You look amazing! Just almost three weeks ago and today my face has been getting smaller, no longer chubby looking.

I'm so happy for you! I'm praying I'll have the same results! How was the pain? I have pain tolerance, but I don't know what to expect.High pain tolerance.

It sounds like you're doing awesome! My surgery is May 18 and I can't wait! I've been doing a pre-op diet and as of today I've lost 17.8 pounds in 2 1/2 weeks! I took a picture of me each and my face has shown a huge difference. It's not as chubby anymore. I love that! May 19, instead of the 18th. Sorry!

How's everyone doing on the pre-op diets? I'm on day 13 and so far so good! I'm down 10.5 pounds, 2.5 inches in my waist, and 2 inches in my hips! I've already met the goal they set for me. My dietitian even said good job, congratulations, keep up the good work! My dietitian rarely says that! She's strict but good!

How's everything going for? I know you're ready to see results! Praying for a quick recovery!

That's awesome! I met the goal my nut and surgeon wanted. Now I'm down 15.5 in 15 days. 16 more days to go! I can hardly wait!

Walden Farms makes coffee creamer in several flavors. All are dairy-free, calorie and fat free. The flavors I know of are a regular one, mocha, sweet cream, and hazelnut. I was dying for coffee too. Now I can have it without cheating! ☕????
