  2. Hi all, I am 7 days post op and recently I've had reflux keeping me up all night and I'm not getting much sleep at all I'm still on fluids so I'm not sure what I'm doing right or wrong. I wait 3 hours after my last drink before laying down.. Has anybody else experienced this? How long did it go on for? I currently on somac medication as prescribed by the surgeon Thanks, From one tired young girl

    4 days post opt!

Hi all, I was sleeved on Feb 19th and have felt all the same feelings you are going through! In my mind I keep thinking, I should be feeling better already But we just need to take time to let your body heel and rest I'm struggling to sleep at night which is a pain in itself Tummy is feeling okay, all but one of the incisions which the stomach was removed from. All I keep reciting to myself is 'pain is temporary' we will get through this! In a month or so, we won't even recognise ourselves for the better God bless and good luck to you all!
  4. Hi all, The day has finally arrived. One more sleep and it's sleeve day! I'm so nervous, so excited, so overwhelmed, scared, confused, impatient. Practically any emotion you can experience!! Any tips or words of wisdom for a comfortable hospital stay, and the next two to four weeks post op? I have some support from family, but it's always nice to hear some kind words from people who have been through it all Thanks, Kellie

    ANYONE NERVES ABOUT SLEEVE?

Hi guys, feeling a lot better today. I'm from Australia, not sure if this is american or international? The 16k I can afford, & I'm just keeping positive in knowing I'm a young healthy girl so complications are quite rare. I know I'm in great hands with my Doctor. However any operation is scary Where are you all from? Any words of advice or wisdom so I don't drive myself insane over the next month! Haha

    ANYONE NERVES ABOUT SLEEVE?

Hi all, I am booked in for feb 19th Conversation with my mum earlier tonight has really got me stressing.. The operation will cost me approx $16k and there is always the possibility of complications which means 1000s more in cost and hospital stay I'm trying to be positive and look at the bigger picture but the stress of the above has really got me anxious.. Do I just cancel and go back to life as it is..? Or take the risk and what will be will be? Positive reinforcement is definitely needed here send help!
