  1. It has rained here in Georgia for a whole week - pouring, flooding, wet wet wet. I am feeling a bit depressed with no energy. Though I am not really physically hungry I am thinking obsessively about food and wish i could just pig-out on some fried chicken. Food tastes different to me now and sometimes I actually forget that I had this surgery until I really start to eat my now uninteresting diet. Just feeling sorry for myself a bit today and wanting to hear from others. This too shall pass I am sure.

I like simple foods and am a Southern girl. Love greens and all kinds of beans & peas. Also fish, chicken, red meat and poultry. I like most foods. Thanks for your help.

No problem. Last question - how is your sleeve doing with meats at this point? Have you had any issues with any foods in particular?

I'll be posting recipes at the link below over the next few days. I think the chicken tenders might be right up your alley - they're no fried chicken, but might not be a terrible substitute.
