    April 20th buddy

Hey! I was sleeved april 20th. Almost 3 months out and right at 60 pounds down. I can't believe how it is coming off. I still struggle with water and protein. I just can't seem to drink enough. Exercising a few times a week. What about you? How are things going your way?

    1 month post op

At one month post op I all about to honestly eat whatever as long as it settles okay. I'm not allowed to have beef or pork until three months out. So I eat lots of turkey and chicken to get in my protein. What are you eating right now?

    Sleeved yesterday!

You sound exactly like me. It's normal. My nausea lasted two days after my surgery. I was so nauseated day two that I threw up three times. I'm now almost two weeks out and feel normal again. You can do this. I promise it will pass even though it doesn't feel that way right now. Just take it an hour at a time and rest. Try not to get dehydrated. I also had left shoulder gas pain that began on day three and lasted until day six. That was my worst pain.
  4. I'm only able to get in about 4 Oz in about 45 minutes. My dietician said to take it slow. Maybe I'm too slow. Everyone seems to be able to handle more than me. Should I try to up it?
  5. How much are you able to drink in one sitting as far as ounces go?
  6. I'm 1 week post op and have not been hungry at all. But you could try more protein and water. I'm also a week out. Are you able to get in 60g of protein? I'm not able to
  7. I completely agree. I'm now trying to figure out the food mess with protein and everything. It's a lot to take in all at once and does require lots of patience. Thank you so much for your advice!
  8. The shoulder pains have finally almost went away. Things are much much better since last week. Thank you all for your responses and encouragement!

Yeah I'm sore too, especially in the bigger incision. We can do this! We will be better in no time! :-)

    April 20th buddy

Lucky you! I also got sleeved the 20tg. It's been rough for me. Tuesday I had horrible nausea. Today I'm finally starting to feel better except for this horrible gas in my left shoulder. It's the worst pain of everything. And I'm struggling to get in my fluids. It gets better day by day, but hoping this shoulder pain goes away soon. So glad you are doing well! I'm ready to feel as great as you!
  11. I had surgery april 20th. The day of I was feeling great. On tuesday nausea took over and I couldn't get Down hardly anything. Yesterday was a little better but this morning wasn't good. I have a killer sharp pain in my left shoulder and I'm feeling more nauseated, but not nearly as bad as the 2nd day. Liquids are tough for me. Does anyone have any suggestions or simply some encouragement to let me know this doesn't last forever? Thanks in advance.
  12. April 20th, heading in at 5:15! Prayers for everyone!
  13. You can do it! You should definitely listen to your doctor. Everyone's doctor had different requirements. You'll do great! :-)

I will definitely keep you in my prayers. I believe this is probably the hardest thing I've ever done. I've only been on the diet a couple of days but staying busy has been a life savor for me. You can do this! It's only temporary in the scheme of things. I try to keep reminding myself that.

I completely understand. These first 2 days I have felt so drained. I'm hoping it does get better. April 20th will be here before we know it!
