  10. Hi Everyone, I had surgery on 4/20/15 down 35 or so pounds. My WLS journey/plan is a little different my surgeon and NUT does not promote the Protein drink at all. I eat 3 meals a day soft foods 1/4 - 1/2 cup of food per meal including 2-3 oz of protein no snacking, however when I get hungry I will eat a piece of cheese or lunchmeat. I returned to work on 5/18 and I haven't been tired yet thank God because I returned to 2 jobs. I'm thinking because I don't do a lot of exercise and I really need to but that may be why I'm not getting tired. But I'm afraid I'm going to fail because I'm not exercising and I'm snacking. I need to be more accountable about counting calories. Does anyone have an easy calorie counting plan?

  16. Hi, Just a suggestion which was suggested to me (I'm scheduled for surgery on 4/20/15) write down why I decided to get the sleeve so I can refer back to reasons why I chose to have it done when I go thru rough Patches. Remember you pre-op days... I know it's easier said than done. Good Luck

  18. Wow, all I can say is I want to be like you all when I grow up. Surgery scheduled for April 20th
  19. I'm scheduled for April 20th. One week from today!!!! I'm thinking this time next week I should be sleeved, I don't get my time until Wednesday.
  20. Hi I'm scheduled for April 20th, had my pre-op today and everything is going well so far. Fortunately I don't have to do a liquid diet prior to my surgery.
  21. My niece who will be 40 next year is like a sister to me and she's over 400 pounds and I wish she would have taken this journey with me, however she is totally against it. She had a stomach virus a few years ago and lost about 75 lbs (have since gained it back) and the doctors could never figure out what it was, so she says that's why she doesn't want to have WLS. She loves to travel and every time we go somewhere I'm the one concerned about her fitting into the seats or whatever. She don't appear to have any worry about it. Hopefully she will follow my lead once I'm sleeved and doing well.
  22. Right lol, I'm cracking up laughing at all of us shopaholics this topic has taken a turn totally opposite of the topic. Hey I'm right here with you ladies... I love it..
  23. Congratulations!!! I'm scheduled for April 20th I hope to be like you when I grow up (lol).
  24. Which Kaiser? I'm scheduled at Kaiser Richmond in Northern Ca.
