  1. Hello Everyone, I am 24 hours post-op. I woke up in pain, but not that much pain as I expected. The nausea and dry-heaving was REAL as others previously described. This was cured by the medicine finally given to me as I stayed awake in recovery. Pain is extremely BEARABLE with the medicine in me. I am walking a lot more now and I feel better. I feel like someone who just did 500 sit-ups in 20 minutes, LOL . The hospital plans to release me at 3pm today. If anyone happens to have anymore stories about their adventures of their first day post-op? Please share them!!!
  2. I was interested in suggestions for things to bring to the hospital for my VSG procedure. I would like to know what to bring, what worked and what didn't work, etc. I have my procedure on June 2! I am excited, yet nervous. Thank you in advance for helping me with this!!

  6. Hi Everyone, I am an avid, habitual dancer (dance anytime that is possible). If I haven't danced in at least a day, I get super jittery. I am not a professional dancer, but I just love the movement. I am scheduled for the surgery on June 2 and I was wondering how soon were patients able to go back to such activity without the stomach pains? Your story does not have to be dance specific, but anything physical that you often do! Thanks for the feedback in advance!
