San Diego Bandsters out there?
Well for all you San Diegeans . . . tonight (4-7) is Dr. Mueller's office support group meeting which is open to anyone. It's both bypass and lapband people . . . but a good group. I don't know the address of it . . . just know where it is behind Mary Birch hospital . . . across from the parking garage - the Rehab building . . . but you could call Dr. Mueller's office for the phone number for information!

San Diego Bandsters out there?
I can just about "diddo" sweetone's comments. I really really really liked his stats . . . I think that was the main reason. Also, I didn't get a fill this past week . . . but I've been losing 5 lbs a month and he likes that rate - so I guess I should stop complaining and just work my band more! Dr. Mueller's office is also organizing some walks for the months of April-July (and the staff will be there too I guess). Monique said there are 3 levels of walking - and it's about two miles. So . . . I signed up! Hope to see some of you there! Chris

Bands get tight after flying?
Had my appointment with the doctor today - he said the only reason someone would be tighter after flying is if there is air in the tubing. If there is only saline, it can't expand with pressure like air can. He told me not to worry about it. I didn't get an unfill for my cruise . . . because I only have 1.5cc's to begin with . . . I'm thinking I'll be fine . . . and will keep drinking for hydration. Thanks everyone! Chris

Bands get tight after flying?
I've read somewhere that some people have trouble with their bands being really tight for a few days after flying. Anyone have any experience with this? Just debating if I should bother with a fill tomorrow (4-3) because I'm flying in May . . . Chris

Getting "Second Wind" .. . remotivated!
Oh this band IS great . . . I haven't been terribly bad . . . but wasn't moving or watching my eating as much as I should . . . so now I'm ready again to be doing everything right - and getting at least a little results here and there . . . maybe I'll get a slight fill tomorrow (4-3) . . . we shall see what he says.

When you do the new poll for NEXT month . . . isn't there an option to have the person's name listed in the vote also? That would be kinda cool. Just an idea!

Getting "Second Wind" .. . remotivated!
The entire month of March was kind of wasted on me . . . I went to my "mandatory" land-based exercise class (through my surgeon's office) . . . and hurt my hip. It took 3 weeks before I even felt well enough to go do Water aerobics again . . . and I generally was getting depressed. Well I gave myself a slap in the face this weekend and told myself to snap out of it . . . and started back at my water aerobic classes . . . and gee . . . the weight is starting to move again (oh who would have guessed that one? lol) . . . so . . . I'm ready to go again . . . I'm going on a cruise in 6 weeks . . . I want some new clothes! :puke: Chris

Possible SV . . . we'll see!
Well guess what . . . at the gym tonight their scale agreed with my home scale . . . so I think . . . the doctors' little chickie was WRONG That's ok . . .I'll get down there soon!

Possible SV . . . we'll see!
Went to my PCP today and their scale says 13 lbs LIGHTER than mine! I said "R U SURE????" . . . and the little girl assured me its correct (she didn't use the digital scale). So MAYBE I haven't been as stuck as I thought I was . . . I'll see what the surgeon's scale says on Thursday when I go in (that will be 4 months out for me!) . . . and no more blood pressure meds! YEA! Chris
