Any St. Louis/Metro Area Sleevers out there?
Did u have surgery already??? If so how was it? I'm soooooooooooo nervous! you're the first person I share a surgeon with I'm so glad u responded!! I had my surgery (Gastric Bypass and Hiatal Hernia repair) 12/18/14 at DePaul. I have surpassed my goal. In fact he wants me to gain weight back. But, that is a whole other issue for me that I am working on with myself, Dr. Wheeler, Nutritionist and Counselor. Sigh Having said that, Dr. Wheeler is awesome! You will be very happy with him.

Question about being "finished" with weight loss
I find all kinds of support for those that regain. Yet, very little support for those of us that have become or have Anorexic tendencies. Which is what is happening to me.

Can't stop losing weight...
I was to see my surgeon last Thursday but had to reschedule due to my daughter's surgery last week (we were still in the hospital). I am scheduled to see him next Tuesday. I need to get a new battery for my scale. I don't know where my weight is right now.

Can't stop losing weight...
I have anxiety and fear over failing once again. I have failed at my weight loss time and time again. When I see the number go down on the scale, I feel relief. When it goes up, I have fear of failing again. It isn't only what the scale says, It is how I feel physically and how my clothes feel. When I eat because I am hungry, I have guilt for eating. I just know I will get fat again. This is terrifying to me.

Can't stop losing weight...
Seeing the Nutritionist tomorrow and Counselor on Thursday. The Counselor called and talked to my husband today about me. I did give permission at our last appointment. But I was still hoping she wouldn't LOL The Counselor has asked that my husband go to the Nutritionist appointment with me tomorrow. Oh boy.

Can't stop losing weight...
Another Update I saw the Counselor on Wednesday. She is very concerned about me. I will be seeing the other Counselor next week and thee Dietician (that appointment was already set up). I am at the basement of my BMI. If I get sick, I will fall below a healthy BMI. I was given strict orders to stay off the scale, track my intake of food and Water. She also wants me tracking my mood and want is going on in my life.

Can't stop losing weight...
I honestly think I am dehydrated. I probably should of asked for some fluids. I did tell her I am having problems with dizziness. She thinks it is from transitioning from sitting to standing.

Can't stop losing weight...
Yesterday, we set up an appointment with the Therapist for next Wednesday, Nut the following Wednesday and my Surgeon wants to see me. I see him on January 7th. The NP said, I will be closely monitored and my surgeon will probably hand me to her to see for follow-ups after I see him on January 7th. My brain is so trained to not eat, its flipped a switch to scared to gain. I am so worried about ruining my pouch and regaining all that I have lost. Does that make sense? I think she wants me to track my food, to get an idea of what and how little I am eating. Not to mention nutrients I am missing. I honestly, never that I would be in this position.

Can't stop losing weight...
Because, I haven't had time to post what I eat. I eat: String cheese Dannon light and fit yogurt (2 a day probably) P3 (for breakfast) lunch is usually a small chili or bacon chicken ranch salad from Wendy's with light ranch. Or a Subway Turkey chop salad with fat free ranch. banana berries mandarin oranges hummus apples with cashew butter or almond butter I don't do well with meat. I started putting it in Myfitness pal today as per the request of the NP.

My PCP wants me to see my surgeon. Right now, I am not able to take off work to go see him. It will have to wait a little bit.

Don't let it go. Definitely follow up. Have you added more calories to your food plan? Thank you. I will let you know what they do with me.

Can't stop losing weight...
I had a meeting this morning and haven't been able to call Nut or Surgeon. My PCP is concerned (whom I trust). Otherwise, I would let it go. I have co-workers that have had Gastric Bypass and they are concerned about me too.

Can't stop losing weight...
Anyone have problems with not being able to stop losing weight? My surgeon has mentioned maybe having to do something with my pouch to enlarge it? But I am not sure what it is exactly. I am still losing weight and can't seem to stop. I saw my PCP today about some issues and she had me go do a bunch of blood tests. Then she wants me to call me surgeon. Oh boy. I will be a year out on 12/18/15.
