I'm 37 years old and I'm a wife and mother of five teenagers. I've bween battling being overweight since birth. I was over 10lbs when I was born, and as I got older the weight just continued to pile on. I have tried just about all the diets and exercise programs on the market. My weight hit its highs after I was diagnosed with lupus and chronic asthma along with arthritis. With those illnesses I had to be put on a lot of steroids which didn't help my weight at all. I'm scheduled to have gastric bypass in December and I can't wait! Along with the surgery, I downloaded this app because I want to be able to meet other people that are going through the same things and understand what I'm dealing with. I also like reading all the useful information the site provides.
