My daughter had the lapband surgery a year and a half ago and has lost quite a bit of weight. However, the whole time since the surgery she has been plagued with diarrhea. She never had it before the surgery. She is a teacher and it is difficult for her to get to the RR, and often when she has just returned fromn the RR, she needs to go again. It is not the kind of diarrhea where you can wait to go- it is the "right now" kind. I hope someone will have some answers for her- it is a real problem!! Thank you!!!

Hello, my daughter was banded by Dr. Tersigni in Coos Bay and lives in Central Oregon so we are looking for a Dr. near Bend who will do fills. Anyone know of any, and how much they charge? Thanks!! Elaine

Hi- I thought I would addmy comments about Dr. Tersigne- both my daughters were banded by him last December and both have lost weight- they both liked him and his staff. Odd how you hear negatives and positives. Neither of them has had any problems with the fills. He charged $165 for a fill, but that may be just for his patients- I don't know. Aloha!! My daughter is going to school on Maui and has been banded for a year. She really needs a fill and cannot afford to fly home to Oregon to get one. I am wondering if there are any fill doctors on Maui, and if not, are there any on Oahu or any of the other islands? Mahalo!!! Marianelaine
