Big problem with that article? Sleevers don't have pouches.
But at 2.5 years out, I still can't eat more than 1/4 - 1/2 cup of proteen (sic) at a sitting most days so I agree with the idea that sleeves don't stretch.
And yes. I drink carbonation every day. Through a straw!

I grew up in Ohio, so definitely not the south, but I was drinking coffee for as long as I can remember. I remember ordering it at a restaurant once when I was about 6 and the waitress looked at my parents like "WTF??!?!" My dad literally put Pepsi in our bottles when we were babies, so I was hooked on caffeine from a VERY early age.
BTW, my parents are the best parents in the world, contrary to what this post might imply.

The worst (pre-WLS) was "Why do you want to get surgery? You aren't that overweight."
I guess they were trying to pay me a compliment, maybe for a small Pygmy Hippo I was at a good weight, but not for a 6' tall man.

I always hid behind it because I am a natural blonde, and therefore no matter how BIG I was I always felt like atleast I had pretty hair! HA, sad way to think I know. Sarahbeth, wanted to know if you have any tips or special things you did. I feel as though I'm at a plateau already, just had sleeve on 4/23, on surgery date was 265, today at 252.8, I'm walking 2.5 miles at least 4x a week.. Not eating over 500-600 calories a day. Do you have any advice
