  1. I picked up VitaCraves gummies at Walmart. It was my daily treat lol well still are actually! My sleeve tolerated them fine and was ordered to start them upon discharge. Glad things are going well and congratulations!
  2. I don't use mine. I eat what I can. I do however use measuring cups. I will measure. 3/4 cup of soup and tolerate it just fine. But solid more dense foods ie chicken I am lucky to get 1/2 cup. 3oz of beef or Chx seems to be my limit. I still log every bit of food but I "guesstimate" a lot of it. Don't sweat the small stuff. Your sleeve won't let u over eat. Just don't fill it with crap food
  3. I did not have a drain. And I ate food way earlier than you. Lol it's all dependent on your surgeon and their practice. I have a great one! My surgery was a breeze. By 2 weeks PO I was on purée/mashed and by 4 weeks my lifetime diet. My weight loss has been consistent and I take in 6-700 calories a day with ease at 2 months PO. Down 39 pounds. Just because it's not what your dr did doesn't mean it was the wrong way to do it.
  4. It all depends on the elasticity of ur skin. It's genetics. I unfortunately am one who has very elasticity. Same reason some get stretch marks with pregnancy and some do not. I have a road map. So did my mother. My best friend had none. Nor did her mother. She may have some factor but not really the main. I was 16 with my 1st child (ugh 20 years ago) I did all the lotions and creams faithfully every night....... Yeah did NOTHING! Lol so I have come to grips with the need of plastics if I choose to go that route. But honestly at this point I'm just happy being a thinner me and being comfortable doing everyday activities. Looking "sexy" naked isn't really too on my priority list. Hubby makes me feel that ways anyway good luck to u!
  5. What a great reward for such hard work obtaining your goal! You look amazing! Congrats to u!
  6. I'm keishacoates on my fitness pal. If u want to add me as well!
  7. I think we have all felt this way from time to time! I get much more emotional lately. I just keep looking for the brighter light. We will find it! Hang in there.
  8. Thank you! It was nice to make it through the holidays still losing. Lol
  9. So hubby took me shopping yesterday, I went the day before and found NOTHING. was in a total funk. Nothing looked right on me. Everything fit weird. Well he said i will take u...(13 years this is a FIRST) well we shopped in Reg sizes!! Not plus sizes and OMG sz 16 petite skinny jeans fit meeee!!! I'm only down 38 pounds. But it's coming off in good places! He then took me to a shoe store and bought me some knee boots!! My calves have always been too big for them. Considering I wear a size 6. Even "wide calf" wouldn't come close. It was a great day for a little confidence boost. Hope everyone is doing great!!!!!
  10. I'm 8 weeks out and can eat raw fruits and veggies, I wasn't told not to :/ was it a no no?
  11. I am 8 weeks out and I have tolerated pasta fine. I don't eat much of it... Like I made shrimp linguini... Had maybe 2-3 noodles with all my shrimp. I've also had stuffed shells with grilled chicken and cheese. Everyone is different. Although 9 days is still too early, lol lesson learned right? It will get better sweetie. Hang in there.
  12. Water water water. Just keep doing what u are doing. Hopefully it will pass. I haven't read anything so far to trick the stalls!
  13. I had my surgery 10/23 I am at my 2 month sleevaversary. My weightloss also slowed to a snails pace at 6 weeks. I just kept on keeping finally this week it just started coming off again. Everyone is different so try not to look at the numbers! My goal was 40 pounds down by 2 months and I fell shy coming it at 37. But u know what... That's ok!!!!!! On to my next mini goal for Valentine's Day! 50 pounds down here I come!
  14. So far im taking mine monthly! It has been really nice to watch the transformation. Even when the scales are being buggers! You look great keep up the good work!!
  15. Drinking isn't going to hurt u unless it's bad drinking with too many calories or carbonation.
  16. My butt is getting jiggly. I hate that. My boobs.... Ugh don't get me started. I have a HUGE butt. But it's always been nice and firm. Now it's getting jiggly. My trainer started me on squats and lunges to help that but it still isn't gonna ever be right. Lol and my boobs. Gone. Just gonna buy me some when this is all over! Hahaha
  17. I eat out all the time I order normal portions and just have left over or pawn off on the hubby. I try to order a good protein base. Like a grilled chicken or shrimp. And I pass on the sides. Maybe if I'm feeling frisky I will eat a bite of baked potato. Lol you are at the same mark as me. Maybe u feel off track cause weight loss has slowed down the last few weeks. I know mine did!! I only lost 7 pounds in a month!!!! BUT this week.... In 3 days I have lost 5 pounds! The stall is broken! Although it is frustrating I kept doing my thing... It finally settled and scales are moving in the right direction. Good luck to you dear!!
  18. My 2 month Is on Christmas... Can't wait to take my progress pic. The last month was rough with long stalls but I lost 4 pounds this week so it's jump starting again! Not a huge difference from my 1 month but things are moving again. Yay! So I'm at 37 pounds. I really want that 40 pounds by my 2 month sleevaversary!
  19. 1500-1600 calories is a lot! Is that what your Dr recommended?
