  1. Thank you, yes I do have some of the "good" carbs. I have cut out bread and pasta. I use my fitness pal to track EVERYTHING! Lol I have seen the fit bits recently. I might give that a try. Thank you for your response. It was a lot of info!!
  2. But I don't do typical "fast food" I never have. Not a Burger King or Mcdonalds kinda gal. lol
  3. I eat out all the time.... (At least 2 times a week) It's just what my family does. I it's order something protein based and set the other stuff to the side. Or order a chicken quesadilla and I just eat the chicken. It works.
  4. I am a little over 5 weeks PO and I am only down a total of 32 pounds. I struggle getting my calories in, and still don't get enough water. I am just gonna keep trying my best. I too follow all the rules. Cut all the bad carbs, starches, and sugars. Just hang in there. It will come off.
  5. Sounds like u have a compaction. (Hard poop stopping u up) the liquid stool is seeping around it. U may need to have it physically removed no fun. Good luck dear.
  6. I am 5 weeks out. I hit a stall at 3 weeks. Lasted1.5 weeks. I've lost 2 pounds since then. So it will get better
  7. God love ya! But u know what, you were a Momma playing with her kiddos!!! That is awesome. That's what this is all about for me!!! Good luck on continued success. And congrats on your loss this far!!
  8. I get hungry! But only when it's time to eat! I was starving after my surgery. Lol but a few sips of broth I was satisfied.
  9. So what is an average calorie intake for u guys? I am struggling. I have cut out sugars, carbs, and starches. and I am finding it very difficult to hit calorie goals. For the most part I am hitting protein goals. I still struggle with my water intake. I pushed myself to hit 700 calories yesterday. And I was down a pound today. But normal days I'm lucky to hit 500. Since my 3 week stall, I'm only down 2 pounds. Putting my total loss at 31 pounds. (Which I'm very pleased with) I just feel like I'm missing something! I want to do this the right way!
  10. That's awesome!!! And I am 4'11" ???? u would be a giant next to me!! Lol good luck on your continued success!!
  11. The first month has been a struggle with going to the bathroom for me. But I have taken the advice from many here and it has really helped! Keep up your positive attitude, it will take u far!! Good luck!!
  12. As much as it sucks, u have to make no excuses. U have to fit 30min in just as if it were a shower. A necessity for success. Good luck to you! Oh also increase water and protein for a week. I read that it bumped another lady into a high loss week!
  13. Mine was prescribed together.
  14. I started the week of and was on my last day when I had surgery. I was really worried reading everyone's posts as I am also clockwork. Thank goodness mine came right on time, BUT it was extremely hard this time. Really heavy flow with big clots. And really bad cramping. That I AM NOT used to. Hope it gets better. And hope u start soon!
  15. As u should be! You look fabulous!!! And I love the new hair cut! Congrats on your success so far. I only hit 30 pounds 4 weeks out. But I'm still impressed with that ☺️
  16. SQUATS AND LUNGES GIRLS!!!!
  17. My bum will never leave!!! Lolol I can only hope I lose in my legs quickly. Mine has been mainly my belly so far.
  18. I have always cooked, and last night at dinner it dawned on me why I'm so fat.... I eat AS I cook. I have to taste to season. By the time dinner was done I couldn't even eat with them. I was already full! Where before I would still fill my plate and eat with them. So I need to learn to QUIT eating as I cook ????????????
  19. Well... I do t think that's accurate. Lol I'm 4'11.5". I weigh 245at the moment. But my hands are extremely small. My fingers do not touch. But I know I'm small framed. I couldn't even have my children naturally because even fully dilated my bones were just too small. But maybe my fingers would touch if I wasn't over weight. Hehe
  20. It also depends on how much fat u have to lose. So I may lose more than u based on those stats alone. People progress at different rates. I wouldn't worry about the numbers so much as the way I look and feel. And u look amazing! Keep it up!
  21. Congrats on you success do far!!! Keep the positivity up, u will succeed!!!
  22. I am only 4 weeks post op, but I too weigh daily and log EVERYTHING I'm my fitness pal. It helps me stay accountable. I am out of all the liquid and soft phases and on my lifetime diet so I know how important it is to stay on track! If you want it u have to fight for it!! Good luck to you!
  23. I have NEVER liked beans. They made me sick to even smell them.... Well now I LOVE refrained beans! My husband was shocked when he saw me eat them. Lol
