Finally had surgery!

Had surgery Dec 31st and I was in some pain but today woke up with less pain been walking a lot and drinking water. The surgeon said if I can handle drinking the shakes that I might be able to go home today fingers crossed. Any advice out there? What vitamins to take? How's the shakes after surgery??

I picked up VitaCraves gummies at Walmart. It was my daily treat :) lol well still are actually! My sleeve tolerated them fine and was ordered to start them upon discharge. Glad things are going well and congratulations!

Marie,

Did your doctor reccomend any vitamins? They told be to take Opurity vitamin and mineral, which I can buy at hospital or online. And 2 hours after

that take Citracal, which is in the drugstores. Opurity also seals a calcium supplement. Did you go home today? Hope so, the hospital is so uncomfortable.

I was given a list of aproved shakes and vitamins at my first visit to the Bariatric clinic. I take Celebrate Vitamins. I ordered a sample package of them and decided on my flavors pre-op. I chose this brand due to price and the ease of scheduling them through my day.

Congrats and welcome to the losers bench, what an exciting time for you, remember to walk and sip water and get in your protein before you know it you will running around again resuming normal activitys.
