  1. Wow GREAT JOB! I was also sleeved in Oct (23rd) I'm down 47-48 pounds. I went from a size 20-22 jeans to a reg 16! It's been hard. Lots of stand still for me. But I'm pushing through.
  2. I started taking Biotin everyday.
  3. How is everyone doing? I'm down 48 pounds. Been slow the past 6 weeks to say the least. But I'm still pushing along!
  4. How is everyone doing now 3 months later?
  5. Oh I didn't realize it was weekly weigh ins! I messed this whole 1st challenge up!
  6. I'm not doing so hot. Lol I'm only down 7 pounds. 13 more to go by V-day to hit my goal...
  7. I read one girls post that had my stats (very short) same weight. She lost 130 pounds, and said she always had a cheat weekend day it worked well for her. I dunno like I said my body loses odd. All has been proportionate and like I said I'm not at all going to start eating badly all the time. But maybe a carefree day a week is what I need. We will see. I will test it out for a month ????
  8. I started tracking to watch for trends. Like ok this was a great weight loss week what did I eat... Lol well there is no rhyme or reason. Several years ago I went on a big diet and exercise plan and I lost 75 pounds. By doing tracking I found out what was best for me. With my sleeve NOT SO MYCH!! I tell myself just don't get in the scales! But I can't. I weigh daily. Even have an app for daily weights. The only thing I know for sure is when I lose 5-8 pounds the next week i for sure stand still. Doesn't matter what I do.
  9. I know it sounds crazy but this has been such a roller coaster for me and Although I love the ride... I'm trying to figure out rhyme or reason. 4 months out and I'm still confused! AND I am NOT complaining before someone puts a snide remark about You've lost how much and your complaining.... I will lose weight 5-8 pounds in a week then I will stall for at lease 2. Sometimes even gaining a pound. Then I lose 5-8 more then yet another stall. I'm assuming it's just my bodies way of weight loss... But I eat healthy I cut all sugar and eat moderate heathy carbs. I hit at least 7-800 calories a day. I don't work out hard but I do my standard Cardio exercise. I track every calorie, push my Protein and do my best to get my Water in (I still struggle there) I am down 50 pounds so I am THRILLED with my results so far. I'm just confused. This past week I was so frustrated and had a bad week... I said F it I am not following a diet this week.... I had pizza and snickers ice cream bars and even my favorite cheeses cake! I felt so guilty after 3 days of eating complete crap I was afraid to even look at the scale. Lol BUT I got on and my mouth dropped... How in the world did I lose 5 pounds in 3 days of me eating CRAP!!! lol I'm so confused. No I will not continue to eat poorly. But I wonder if it's good to shake your body up a bit after stalling and keeping everything the same for a while? Anyone else lose in weird ways?
  10. I am at 4 months post op and I am a little over 40%. Although depending on how much you actually had to lose makes it way different. I needed to lose 120 pounds so 49 pounds 4 months out. But for someone who only needed to lose 80 pounds 40% would be harder to attain. Everyone is different. I lose in cycles. 5-7 pounds 1 week then nothing for 2 weeks. Then I will lose 5-7 more... Then nothing. Although it's frustrating it's just how my body does it. Stop worrying with the numbers. Do your thing, change your life! This is a lifetime change. Do it right
  11. I've had zero complications. I am 4 months out and I think I have only gotten sick 2 times from over eating in the beginning (I learned my lesson) the stalls are a bit discouraging but u learn to just live with them and they pass. I struggle with my water intake. Really have to work hard to get it in. Also I had to adjust to the no drinking with your meals. That's been the hardest thing for me. Good luck to you!!
  12. I am 4 months out and i stall every 2 weeks. It's crazy. I will lose 5-7 pounds 1 week then nothing for 2... Lose 5-7 pounds nothing for 2. So I guess that's just what my body does. I finally at almost 4 months out quit worrying with the numbers. I'm down almost 50 pounds. Went from a size 22 to a size 16 reg jeans. I quit fussing with the scale everyday. Or every week for that matter. Just frustrates me when I know I eating right and it doesn't move.
  13. Same here. I can't figure it out either. I don't think u can mobile.
  14. Everyone is over weight because they have eating issues. The surgery does not fix that. You have to have will power. It's a mental thing. I am 14 weeks post op and I had a piece of cake yesterday... Am I a failure. No. I'm human. I have still lost almost 50 pounds in less than 4 months. I still eat healthy most days and exercise because u have to. I can eat more than most I have seen on these boards talk about. That worries me a bit. But I still choose to eat things that are better for me (except my cake) anyways I try not to judge. It's a disease. They simply were not mentally prepared to take the step to surgery.
  15. My hubby wasn't sleeved but he did start the journey with me! He has even lost more than me in the past 3 months. Lol I'm super proud of him. It's so great to have 100% support at home! Makes for better success stories.
  16. Sorry to hear of ur early struggles, but congrats on 100 pounds!!! ????????????
  17. I am 3m out and I set my cals at 700 a day. With exercise I add calories burned back into my daily calorie goal... Well my fitness pal does it for me. Lol but I try to stay at 700. I am 12 weeks out and down 43 pounds.
  18. I will lose 5-7 pounds in one week then stay still for 2 weeks... Then lose another 5-7 and still for 2 weeks. Over all I have no complaints. But this is HARD. You don't wake up skinny ???? I am 12 weeks out and down 43 pounds. I don't exercise like I should. I am a clothing designer/seamstress so I unfortunately sit a lot ????
  19. I have a little tea now and then. Never drank coffee. I'm not a fan. Pop/soda however is gone forever. It's bad for your new tummy. But I still have caffeine in other non carbonated drinks I'm 12 weeks out down 43 pounds. Not too shabby.
  20. I drink my shake with crushed ice every morning. I like it watered down a bit as its a bit rich. And I like munching ice. AND it also helps with my fluid intake. I keep crushed ice and some drink at all times.
  21. Oh how fun!!! This will be my 1st challenge my goal will be 20 pounds. I'm 235 now so goal weight will be 215!!! Eeeek! ❤️
