Hi there Lolita, I too was sleeved on the 15 October. I have lost 14Ibs already. How are coping with the liquid diet?

I am the same - can't weight to go on puree,. I have got another 11 days to go.

I am getting sleeved Monday the 27!The liquid diet has me tired and crabby! (or hangry?) I hope it gets better after surgery!

Be strong.????????..That's what I keep telling myself. 3 days until purée food for me. I return back to work tomorrow as a teacher, talking about scared.

Aghhhh, I'm getting sleeved this Wednesday the 29th. The liquid pre op diet is wearing on me... I wish I could just sleep off the hangry-ness!

Hi everyone! It's great to find others who also had surgery in October so we can support each other!!! I was sleeved October 14th here in Dallas by Dr. Nicholson. I am feeling great and I love my sleeve. Today I weighed 189. I cannot remember the last time I was in the 180's!!

Highest weight: 219

Before Pre Op Diet: 206

Surgery weight: 201

Current weight: 189

My surgery went well but the first couple of days were awful. I must be a big wimp because everyone else on here says it was easy.

No you are not a wimp???? Those first few days were rough for me too. The day after surgery I had to go to the ER because I couldn't stop throwing up. Every person is different. I am prone to nausea so that is my main issue. On my way to my two week check up yesterday I started throwing up in the car! Gotta love that???? I also threw up on Wednesday. Come to find out my stomach decided it didn't like my multi vitamins. The doctor said to stop taking them for now. I also cannot tolerate thicker liquids like cream of chicken soup or cream of potato soup so I have to stay on clear liquids for another five days then try them again. It's all still worth it????
