  8. I felt the same way. One week post op I said to my BF ( who had RNY 2 yrs ago and has lost over 150lb) what if this doesn't work for me? She said what a good friend should say " your crazy you had 80% of your stomach removed you will loss weight ". When I start to freak myself out about slow wt loss I think follow the plan it has worked for others it will work for me/you.

  14. I am 4 wks out and would NOT try popcorn. Have you tried turkey pepperoni... If you microwave 5-10 sec. They are like chips. I would not eat many at your stage but a few could be a movie treat for you. Part of this process is making better choices... And yes some days that is really hard ...
  15. Yes i found wk 2 and 3 to be really emotional. Once i was feeling better it set in that i could not eat. I am not complaining... It was just surprising to me. Hang in there.

  19. I wish you the best of luck. As we all know surgery is a tool to loss weight but not the only way to loss weight. I made the choice because I need to make a permanent change. While the process is extensive it gives you the time to really think about what a major decision it is.
  20. Hi Ladies, I am so glad i found this post. I was sleeved on 3/2. I have been great post op. Feel great...returned to work in 9 day. First time on the scale was 1 wk post op. I was down 10lb, within a few days i was down 4 more lbs. That was over a week ago and i have been driving myself crazy... I keep telling myself to be patient but it help to know i am not the only one.
  21. Are you having the pressure/ pain in your shoulders? That is so painful. the only way to help is to get that trapped air out by moving around. I did heat and walking. Also try laying on your left side. Hope you feel better soon.
  22. I resumed wifely duties????12 days post op. We had the rare chance to be home alone. No "issues" during or after. That should count as exercise ... Right? Lol
  23. Dr. Told me no coffee 6-8 wks????
