ChronicJam So excited for you! I can't wait to find out when your surgery will be. I had my sleeve on October 14th and I love it! Dr. Nicholson is wonderful and his staff is the best!!! Let me know if you have any questions.

    British Sleevers!

We will be staying in Kingston-upon-Thames but will be going into Central London to see all of the wonderful tourist attractions. I am so excited about the trip!!! I'm not sure about price. Maybe 20 - 30 pounds per person. The reason why I am so nervous is because I ate something last night that I should not have eaten and got so sick!!! I don't want that to happen in front of my friends since they don't know I had the surgery!!!

  7. I am so proud of you!! You look wonderful!! You are an inspiration to us all????
  8. I need your advice. I am 5 weeks post op and traveling to London for 9 days on Sunday. The friends I am traveling with do not know I had the surgery. We will be eating out for all of our meals. Is it going to be difficult for me to find food I can eat at restaurants? Currently I am on a soft solid diet. Mainly I eat fish, chicken salad, greek yogurt, low fat mozzarella cheese sticks, thinly sliced deli turkey, green beans, cooked carrots and broccoli, lean ground beef and bananas. Any advice you can give me would help so much!! Thanks!!
  9. That's great Jerry! Thank you for the encouragement. I had my surgery on Oct. 14th.

  12. hortonl Homemade Cream of Potato soup is a good option to eat for puréed food. You could add unflavored protein powder to it. Have you tried thinned out Greek yogurt or thinned out applesauce? You can also add the unflavored protein powder.
  13. No you are not a wimp???? Those first few days were rough for me too. The day after surgery I had to go to the ER because I couldn't stop throwing up. Every person is different. I am prone to nausea so that is my main issue. On my way to my two week check up yesterday I started throwing up in the car! Gotta love that???? I also threw up on Wednesday. Come to find out my stomach decided it didn't like my multi vitamins. The doctor said to stop taking them for now. I also cannot tolerate thicker liquids like cream of chicken soup or cream of potato soup so I have to stay on clear liquids for another five days then try them again. It's all still worth it????
  14. JFizz21 How did surgery go?
  15. Kimber0721 are you still feeling good post op? I just wanted to check on you. My surgery was on Oct. 14th. Had my two week check up yesterday.
