It should be clarified though that you DO need your passport and Alien Registration Card and License if you are NOT a U.S. Citizen. My British passport had expired and I had lost my green card so I had to get both replaced and must have them with me in order to come back into the U.S. when I go to Mexico this weekend for my consultation. Hi all, I'm a newbie to the board and I am going to meet my surgeon this Saturday. I have a BMI of (gulp) 68 ... what the heck ... so I'm sure I will come home with instructions galore to get my proverbial butt into gear. I am penciled in over the phone for surgery for Dec. 29th -assuming we both meet each other's approval so it doesn't leave much time, but I am motivated as I want to start 2008 off with a bang I was approved for the big gastric bypass surgery 4 years ago, but even with classes and health insurance approval, it just didn't feel right, so I delayed and then they tossed me off the list! Of course, I could have reapplied, but every time I looked at calling, I just got an odd sensation and decided to hold off. Everything I've read about the lapband feels "right" for me at this time so I think I'm finally on that road I was supposed to be on. I've been reading this board for some time and am so impressed with the posts on this thread -- inspirational much? wow! :clap2: Anyway, I'll continue reading and absorbing and hope to bring good news home with me on Saturday afternoon Trish
