@ I didn't have any co-morbid's either. This is the only weird thing I have going. @ I've got my fingers crossed that it will just go away.

I know this can happen and boy is it happening. I'd say 80% of the time when I stand up my BP drops and I get light headed. I haven't passed out....yet but my vision has gone pretty dark. I'm just wondering how many others have had this as a side effect. It didn't start until around the 8th month post op. I'm 10 months now. It's annoying but I see my surgeon on the 17th so we will have to figure something out. I drink plenty and I eat fine. Anyone else dealing with this madness? I have to remind myself to get up slooooow.

@@Shadow427 Oh that's rough! I wouldn't want to split either, you could always eat before and tell them you already ate but you could still go out to chat with them.I would be going to a coffee house, it's hard to split up a coffee tab! Lol!

@@del112 Drink some "smooth move" tea instead, it's natural and will help you go!

I had to do two weeks of just protein drinks, sugar free Popsicles, jello & broth. It's not easy, your body is probably in shock but you won't die. The worst thing you could do is cheat and have to start over. I know it sucks but keep strong and it will be over with before you know it. Make sure you don't go too long between shakes and drink lots of water. Believe it or not I'm putting myself on a 7 day liquid diet for the heck of it! I like to Let my stomach rest at times. I know probably sounds crazy to you but it's easier after surgery!! Stay strong!!!

@@Caroline08042015 No, but I make spaghetti squash and use it for noodles now! Best trade off yet! If you try it Let us know if it's good.

Mine was all over the place. I haven't gained any along the way yet. I don't weigh very often though, I didn't want to drive myself nuts. I've lost 100 lbs in 10 months and that 10 months FLEW by so I'd say that was fast!!

@@kranky813 That was the second phase of my eating plan after surgery. I did feel restriction on it and I only measured out a couple ounces at a time and usually couldn't eat it all. It depends on how thick you make things.

@@dhrguru This made me laugh! Only because I had a incident similar to your the other day. My husband has been supportive too and does comment on my progress when I shamelessly prompt him to. The other day we were watching the news and our local weather lady has lost some weight which he was quick to bring up and say how much better she looks. That was an instant "WTH" moment! I said some snippy comment, shut the TV off and tossed the remote on the other couch. Ha! Without even thinking, I felt kinda dumb afterwards for snapping Like that because I know he didn't even put two and two together. Men are different creatures, they don't think like us. I do whole heartedly believe at times they don't want to give too much praise because they don't want us the get a swollen head and look start looking elsewhere. That wouldn't happen in my case but I can see how it would cross a mans mind. I know he loves me and is proud by the way he acts more than what comes out of that big yapper of his. Men, smh!

@@wannaBthinsoon oh crap! They have two different types to chose from either wide calves or regular. They were the Today's special value so that's why they sold out. They will come back. I was reading reviews and people who bought them went back and bought more so that's probably the problem. I should have bought another pair when I had the chance. I love the Merlot ones for fall!!

I've never heard that but as long as you doing the work I don't think your body will just shut off at a year!

If your surgeon is doing "10 surgeries a day" then he obviously doesn't have time for you. You've made the remark now a couple of times about how "these people act like they are doing you a favor" or you think you are doing them the favor"......How is that? The same way you can find another provider a provider can refuse service to you too. You're not in the ER. It sounds like your surgeon is too busy for you so the PA increased his load and took you off his hands..so yeah maybe he/she was doing you a favor. Lol! If they can't get your billing correct and you don't feel you should have to pay a specialist copay for a NP or PA in a specialist setting then move on. It sounds like you have lots of backup plans worked out and you didn't like the people at the front desk either. You only seem to like the surgeon. Perhaps they should have been more clear with you in the beginning and let you know that the surgeon is not the only person working in the office. I understand, it happens! Sometimes our expectations just aren't met. Now you know what questions to ask when you find a new one. It's a win win for everyone! Keep on that insurance and get your money back. oh side note: We don't "all have school loans to pay" I know I don't.
