  1. @@proudgrammy Good luck with all that! Once you get the hang of it, it won't be hard.
  2. @@proudgrammy I tired to give you my advice on the picture....it's on your post!
  3. @@liannatx I am so excited about fall fashion for the first time! There are so many cute clothes to wear. I don't look good in everything, I try to dress for my body type but I think even before I looked ok in some clothes I was made to feel not fit enough to wear. Like probably these leggings. My give a crap meter is busted!
  4. @@MarceMonster Well thank you! All credit goes to my 14 yr old daughter. She's the picture taker!
  5. @@proudgrammy Oh the striped Blouse saga! I'm glad you can and do wear them! Who makes these rules anyway?! My pup is happy because I was gone working for 14 hours, he probably thought I was gone forever.....like every time I leave a room. I'm sure we would look just radiant standing together! Who's gonna tell us we don't?!!
  6. Well I use my iPad and I have to write a post, then go back in to edit it and it allows me to add a picture once I go back in and edit. It won't let me just add a picture until I go back in. I chose the image that I have on my iPad. I think you can do it with a phone too? I'm not the best with it, it took me a few months before I figured It out....now when ever your ready to send that bar I'll be waiting!! Lol!
  7. I guess I'm just having a fed up moment! Soooo many times I've liked something and wouldn't dare buy it because "society" says I won't look right in it, I'm too big for that, Some flesh may protruded a little more than it "should". I say the hell with it!! If I like it and I'm not breaking any "actual" laws I'm wearing it!
  8. Amen sister! VSGAnn2014!
  9. @@TammyDTM Yes actually I do! I haven't found the freedom to release these arms to the public yet but hopefully someday soon! @@wantingabetterlife lol! That's what I'm saying! I'm all about the comfort!
  10. @@AvaFern Lol! Well maybe not the thin ones but I'm feeling pretty liberated! I have NEVER worn leggings of any kind (since being a kid) I always saw jokes about bigger people wearing certain clothes. I feel like I got ripped off because these are comfy!!! I have 6 pairs now
  11. They are pants or whatever I decide I want them to be! People are so quick to tell someone what they can and can't wear at certain weights. Sure, some articles of clothing don't necessarily flatter everyone but I've decided I will not allow anyone to tell me what I can and cannot wear ever again so to celebrate that new found freedom I'm wearing leggings, My daughter snapped a picture and I'm sharing it!!! Like it or not!! Oh and when my new tall boots show up this week that cover my thick legs I'm going to wear them too!!! Hope everyone is winning their own battles.
  12. Well where's my quest bar then?!
  13. Your body is a wonderland lol!! @@proudgrammy
  14. I'm almost positive people don't say anything when you've OBVIOUSLY drop a ton of weight because they don't want to seem rude. It's awkward to have a conversation about another persons weight. I can, with close friends but I can see why people just stay quiet. I get a LOT of up and down looks so I know they notice. Some will finally get curious enough to say something. It's kinda funny.
  15. @@Wassef Oh you do what your suppose to do and you will!
  16. @@FocusOnMeNow This just makes me smile! Everyone deserves to be happy with their care. I say do what makes you happy. If your not getting the care you feel you want/deserve then leave. It may sound harsh but I can assure you there will be 50 more in line to take your place. That's why healthcare is a secure job. If your good at what you do you will always have patients waiting to see you. I would rather one of my patients leave and find a new care provider than be unhappy with me. Hopefully you will find someone you will be happy with!
  17. @@mtraverse When I get that way I drink a Atkins dark chocolate Royal ready made shake. They have a strong sweet chocolate taste, maybe you should try that. If I still feel that way at night I take some zzzzquil and sleep it off!
  18. Being that I'm in school finishing my masters for my nurse practitioner I will try not to be bias but I will say a Nurse Practitioner is HIGHLY educated as are physicians assistants. There's a reason why your surgeon trust his patients care to them. A smart surgeon isn't going to do anything to hurt his license or practice. That's all I'm going to say about that.....but you do what makes you comfy.
  19. There's lots of reasons, not losing the amount of weight they ask you to lose before surgery, gaining weight. Not passing the psych evaluation, losing too much weight and being under the BMI you need to have. Make sure you know everything they need you do Have/do before starting. Call the insurance co and ask them for every detail so there won't be any surprises. Don't be afraid to call them!
  20. @@laguerr13 Hey you! I'm here. I've been busy working with a group of DR's that own clinics around Missouri, they have me traveling to the different clinics helping out AND I'm back in school keeps this chick BUSY and tired! I try to check in once a day though. I feel asleep with my iPad last night before I could get the page open..but my good intentions where there! Congrats on all your progress skinny! Now get to modeling those crazy scrubs!!
  21. @@FocusOnMeNow Aww thank you and congrats to you! You will be sharing your own NSV's before you know it! Can't wait to hear them!
  22. @@jenjackson Wow that's horrible! I hope they do make the exception for you, I know I would be furious had that happened to me! I'm always afraid of stuff like that, that's why I called and bugged the crap out of the insurance company to make sure EVERYTHING was correct. I found multiple issues. Heck I even went through it with my dental yesterday when the orthodontist finances lady called them for coverage they said my braces weren't covered. I was right back on the phone with them immediately and found out the person they had talked to didn't even bother to check my coverage just said it was not covered when in fact it is so I stayed on the line while they called my orthodontist and gave them the correct information. You really have to watch them, I know we shouldn't have to do all that but you just do. I will send prayers your way and hope this turns out in your favor. Document every phone call ect.....
  23. @@lclemur Aww that precious on many levels!!
  24. @@jane13 Oh I know the struggle, not my ankle so much but thick calves! That's was one of my earliest goals I remember having was to wear zip up boots! @mykdzmom@Bronx40 Thank you!
  25. @@laguerr13 @Alex Brecher Thank you gentleman!
