  4. I'm going to need you to calm down killer! We don't harass our stalls in this joint, we kiss and caress them!!! Lol!!!
  5. I make "tacos" shells out of cooked cauliflower!
  6. @@Sharon1964 isn't that great!!! Now send mom my way!!!
  7. @@PurpleJazz It's a process for sure. I kept a "bucket" of ice next to my chair with water & isopure in it. I used a medicine cup to drink out of. When those got to hard to get down I switched to coconut water which is a super hydrator and sipped on that. It's going to take time. Just keep at it and if you can't do cold then do room temp.
  8. Skin care is as different as the DNA we are made of. Every one will have different outcomes with different products. There's no right or wrong. It's find what's best for you! I just hope my skin doesn't get "use" to this.
  9. @@iamblessed1225 Are you sure your scale is right? 11 lbs in four days is a huge amount even for someone with a whole stomach. That's 38,500 calories in a 4 day period. Are you sure your not retaining fluid?
  10. I haven't seen mine since the month before surgery and I'm ok. I'm a researcher though so anything I don't know I find out!
  11. @@redsohare I Waited 5 years so I'm not the one to answer that. You can plan the wedding just don't buy a dress!
  12. You guys are funny! It's funny because it's true!
  13. @@OutsideMatchInside I just went to the dermatologist last month for some eczema I had on my hands. I wasn't thinking about my face at the time. I got a $500 (co-pay $10) cream for my hands that worked perfectly. I even tried it on my face but nothing. I myself don't need to ask about this now because I've found my answer!
  14. @@SeahawksFan Oh good I hope you love it!! You can get at at Walmart and Walgreens.
  15. @@Seahawkgirl You can always ask. Most protocols say to have 30cc or less drainage in a 24 hr period to have them removed. That's completely up to your surgeons discretion though. Mine had stopped draining and had black clots formed in the line. It was time to go and my surgeon's office was closed (Sunday) so I called the on call and told him my situation and that I was going to pull it. He said he couldn't "tell me to do it " and that he had to tell me to wait until Monday to ask if it was ok to pull it myself. I already knew that would be the answer I'd get so I said ok. I will "tell" them tomorrow that it's gone! Hung up the phone, got a sterile dressing, snipped the stitch and out she came. I've pulled many drains, I worked maternity for 7 years and quit a few of our DRs put them in our c-section patients.
  16. I don't know why nobody tells me this stuff! Last to know....
  17. I like quest bars but I'm not going to put that much work into being able to eat them.....it's not that serious.
  18. @@JamieLogical What flavors have you tried and liked?
  19. Fantastic!
  20. Disclaimer: DO NOT pull your own drain out. I'm medically certified to do so, I'm also horrible at following rules that make me hurt, therefor I made myself comfortable. My surgeon was not "thrilled" with me for doing so but he had no choice but to be stern, laugh, and then made me "promise" to cut that self care crap out! I told him he's just lucky I didn't have a staple removing kit because I would have taken those out too!! Itchy mess! I just needed him to do the surgery because I couldn't very well do it passed out. Once that was over I no longer needed his assistance. He pretty much told me to be quiet and set up my next appointment. Ha! That's the kind of relationship we have."Are you going to be compliant or not?!" " Well that depends buddy are you going to quit making my life miserable?!"
  21. Yes I did!!! I also pulled that aggravation out on day 3 of being home. It stopped working so bye!! I couldn't take it any longer!!! I felt 100x better after that. @@Seahawkgirl
