    Cheating

Working out is great before during and after but it will not cancel out cheats for cheating and the reason they want you to cut out all the foods is to shrink your liver and get the toxins out to make the surgery easier

    Cheating

I'm six weeks postop I do not encourage or condone cheating but I am not one to be hypocritical and or a liar I cheated pre-op diet and postop. It was a struggle for me I'm a mother and a household of six so I did pick up things that I made could've been a spoonful of rice may have been two french fries could've been a strawberry point I did cheat my surgery was pushed off an extra 13 days because of a pending blizzard for the surgery date so I had to fast again which was hard. When I went for my surgery up to two days before I still had solid foods I was supposed to be strictly liquids but I was honest with my surgeon and I had already lost nearly 20 pounds and I was able to have my surgery. After surgery I had pain on my one incision and in my back but I had a steady decrease in weight and I was able to hold down liquids puréed foods so within 13 days I was put back to solids. For those who are able to say they did their fasting before and after strict liquid and puréed diet that is terrific it is very hard do the best you can and make sure you were honest with your surgeon

    6 days post op

It's going to get easier! I had a horrible recovery took four weeks but I'm doing great now stay positive stay focused and if you become overwhelmed or feelings too much stay in touch with your surgeon. I still six weeks out have not taken all the fluids and proteins I need to but I do have a steady decrease in weight loss and I'm just starting to exercise. You will get there you will get there in time when your bodies ready
  7. Everyone is different u will have to wait and see my friend was fine days after I had a bad recovery took nearly four weeks to stand straight up and get outta bed alone but I'm great now and down 37lbs!!!!! Best of luck!!!
  8. My postop has not been ideal. I've had many surgeries unfortunately this one is the roughest but I'm also a mother of six and don't get the proper rest. Liquids went down fine purée find I'm was even allowed solids 12 days out. Doctors were very happy with incisions and progress weight loss of 28 pounds main incision where stomach came out of it very painful and I am having a lot of back pain that I've spoke to the doctor I've spoke to others on the site they say it's normal some have it some don't guess it's just my luck. Two days ago after 500ml oh liquid Vicodin and extreme pain I returned to surgeon in pain he sent me to er and I do have adhesions / scar tissue large bulge under and around area of that incision. I and 23 days out now and still unable to sleep on either side bend take care if kids properly and I'm down 35 lbs but very unhappy with pain. Unfortunately as a mom I didn't expect to be like this since this is my 12th surgery, besides neck and wisdom teeth all others done same way lapo in abdomen area so I'm shocked and frustrated!!!!

    January 15th, 2015 Anyone?

@@downsizingdiva I just called the office again and he actually got right on the phone with me I explained again the pain under the main incision and how there's like a golf ball size lump can't bend still have really bad back pain unable to sleep besides on my back and that's barely happening and he explained the pain can last up to four weeks try to take it easy hot compresses which I'm going to put my mind at ease but at the same time it's still really really hurts I just wish it wasn't this bad. How long ago was your surgery and how are you doing how was your pain your recovery what stage of eating are you at too many questions don't answer just asking because I feel like I wasn't expecting it to be this rough like I said had appendix out while bladder 11 surgeries including those cysts wisdom teeth next surgery for spinal fusion and I was never in this much pain
  11. Where are you located? Dr paragi in Livingston is nice office unorganized cause thy just moved and he separates from his partners but he's good

  13. Gosh no!! I started seminar thurs week in august and sleeves feb 5th! Depends on doctor mine was approved earlier but dr made sure my mind was in right place and nutritionist visits completed ????
  14. So glad to find this trend... Surgery was 2/5 and god the incision he took stomach out of is so painful with a lump under it. I can only lay on back w pillows propping me up there's no way to sleep or lay on either side!! My back right side is killing me I can't bend and I feel like my surgeon just yes'd me when I told him of pain. I understand people complain but I've had many surgeries gallbladder appendix cysts neck ect and never took this long to heal or even be up and around. Pray it eases up sooner than later it hurts when I do nothing!!!
