All of the physician's I have seen through my pre-approval process have been nothing but supportive. I'm sorry you had this experience, but I would not let it deter you. If you haven't already, maybe you should go to a WLS seminar and attend the corresponding support group meeting(s) and talking/listening to people who have already had the surgery will help you to make up your mind.

My date was Oct 23 and was moved today to Oct 16
A full week!!!! I had to cancel a conference but overall I'm ready.

I'm halfway through my 2 week pre-op diet and felt really bad the first few days. Hopefully you will feel better as the day goes on and just remember that tomorrow is the next step toward a new you

Hi Everyone!
I have a stress test scheduled for tomorrow and that's the last of my tests so I should have approval and a surgery date by next week! I started my pre-op diet yesterday and am pretty miserable, but it'll be worth it in the end...Right?! Hoping to go in by the 3rd or 4th week of this month!

I am normally not one to post and run.. and I read everyone's posts.. but this is an exception....
I just found out I"m Approved and I'll have surgery on October 14th !!!!!!!!
I"m dumbfounded a bit... I can't believe this is really happening. I know most of you are feeling that way too !!
I wil read up on posts later today. LETS GO OCTOBER SLEEVERS !!!!!!!!!!
