    Wanted to introduce myself

Butterfly24... I just came across your post! Like the others have said.. it takes time. The band is a tool. It won't cure our habits we have developed that made us over weight. Having medical issues on top of it all doesn't make it easier but it still can be done. I was banded in July 2013. I did well until I plateaued. Then I had to actually work out. I have had 3 fills to get to 'the spot'.... Don't beat up on yourself! it's a process. Keep us posted!

    Frustrated

mb1292 ~ Only Toradol? wow. I was prescribed liquid Vicoden. a the worst pain was from the gas that they put into your abdominal cavity... no pain med will take that away until your body absorbs it... my doctor told me to walk around.... definitely call your doctor! no need to suffer.

LapBand-friendly fast food (don't judge me!)

Thank you for this topic! No judgment! Especially no judgement to banders. We all have our stuff. I use to love eating out. Now eating 3 bites... It's waste of money however I usually get a salad or soup. Not because it's 'diet' it's just what I can tolerate. Definitely Wendy's chili. Sushi... The rice and seaweed doesn't pass. No matter how much I chew. It would take all day.
