  1. I could have actually written your post about myself. Everything you said is happening with me and I currently have 3 ccs in my band. I just started eating solid foods a couple of weeks ago and some days I do great and other days I crave sweets. I have had no problems eating anything I have tried and that scares me. It feels like I could keep eating but I make myself stop. I'll get another fill on Oct. 28 & I hope it will satisfy my hunger. I track all my food on MyFitnessPal and haven't gone over 1200 calories a day (come very close) but when I was on liquids I was only getting approx. 700-800. Good luck to you! I know we can do this but it is extremely hard.

    September banders

Hi, I had my surgery on Sept.4. I go for my first fill tomorrow and I'm sorta nervous about it LOL. I have been doing really good and I'm not having any problems getting my Protein or eating soft foods. I actually feel like I could eat more?? I'm hoping the fill will help with that. I haven't gotten sick once on anything I've eaten so I'm keeping my fingers crossed everything keeps going smoothly. According to my scale, I've lost 14 1/2 lbs since surgery but I'll see for sure tomorrow GOOD LUCK!!!

    Regrets?

I had my surgery on Sept. 4th and it took me EXACTLY 9 days to wake up feeling sooooo much better I'm a little over 2 weeks now from my surgery and every day keeps getting easier. Give it a little time
  4. Thank all of you for the responses and thank you, 2muchfun, for the explanation. That makes perfect sense!!

    Water

I had my surgery 2 weeks ago and I can still drink water like before
  6. I'm not sure why 5 weeks on liquid but I'm going to stick to it. I really am craving REAL food though :/ Thanks for the help!!
  7. Hi, today is 2 weeks since my surgery. I'd like to ask a couple of questions. First, I lost 10 lbs my 1st week but haven't lost ANY in the past week. Is that normal? Next, I know I'm supposed to be on a liquid diet for 4-5 weeks but I ate some mashed potatoes last nite and didn't bother me at all. I didn't feel full or anything. Does that seem normal? After the 1st week, I've really been feeling pretty good and actually, feel like I could eat small portions of solid food. I just don't know if that is right. I've been sticking to about 700 calories/day right now with mostly Protein shakes and juice. Thanks for any advice!
