September banders

I was banded on sept 2 just checking to see how everyone is doing that was banded around the same time. I'm stiil learning my band . I learn something new everyday . One thing I know it's hard to for me to get all my protein in. But what works for me is when I wake up in the morning that's when I can drink the most so I try to drink my protein shake then. According to my scale I've lost 8lbs since surgery . But all scales r different so I'll wait till I get my first fill on oct 1st. So how's everyone else doing ??

Hi, I had my surgery on Sept.4. I go for my first fill tomorrow and I'm sorta nervous about it LOL. I have been doing really good and I'm not having any problems getting my Protein or eating soft foods. I actually feel like I could eat more?? I'm hoping the fill will help with that. I haven't gotten sick once on anything I've eaten so I'm keeping my fingers crossed everything keeps going smoothly. According to my scale, I've lost 14 1/2 lbs since surgery but I'll see for sure tomorrow :) GOOD LUCK!!!

I was banded 9/5. I have lost 10lbs since surgery, for a total of 27.5 since the start of my pre-op diet. I don't have any liquid in my band, but still feel restriction. I should be getting my first fill next week sometime.
