  1. I could have actually written your post about myself. Everything you said is happening with me and I currently have 3 ccs in my band. I just started eating solid foods a couple of weeks ago and some days I do great and other days I crave sweets. I have had no problems eating anything I have tried and that scares me. It feels like I could keep eating but I make myself stop. I'll get another fill on Oct. 28 & I hope it will satisfy my hunger. I track all my food on MyFitnessPal and haven't gone over 1200 calories a day (come very close) but when I was on liquids I was only getting approx. 700-800. Good luck to you! I know we can do this but it is extremely hard.

    September banders

Hi, I had my surgery on Sept.4. I go for my first fill tomorrow and I'm sorta nervous about it LOL. I have been doing really good and I'm not having any problems getting my Protein or eating soft foods. I actually feel like I could eat more?? I'm hoping the fill will help with that. I haven't gotten sick once on anything I've eaten so I'm keeping my fingers crossed everything keeps going smoothly. According to my scale, I've lost 14 1/2 lbs since surgery but I'll see for sure tomorrow GOOD LUCK!!!

    Regrets?

I had my surgery on Sept. 4th and it took me EXACTLY 9 days to wake up feeling sooooo much better I'm a little over 2 weeks now from my surgery and every day keeps getting easier. Give it a little time
  4. Hi, today is 2 weeks since my surgery. I'd like to ask a couple of questions. First, I lost 10 lbs my 1st week but haven't lost ANY in the past week. Is that normal? Next, I know I'm supposed to be on a liquid diet for 4-5 weeks but I ate some mashed potatoes last nite and didn't bother me at all. I didn't feel full or anything. Does that seem normal? After the 1st week, I've really been feeling pretty good and actually, feel like I could eat small portions of solid food. I just don't know if that is right. I've been sticking to about 700 calories/day right now with mostly Protein shakes and juice. Thanks for any advice!
  5. Thank all of you for the responses and thank you, 2muchfun, for the explanation. That makes perfect sense!!
