wow Dec list is getting long... Welcome everyone

Did get everything I need before surgery. Surgery this Monday and so i'm hoping I followed everything doctor told me and he wont cancel me. I hope hospital let me bring stuff for overnight.. dam im hungery. wheres my order

I been on ProOp diet for 6days and my bad headache disappeared around day 3. Just stick with it and you will make it. Good Luck

Had the unjury vanilla at lunch and it was very good... so i placed a order for more choco and vanilla. Kinda cheated today and had one tuna sandwitch on wheat w/ liquid drink but i dont think it will hurt me that bad.

Well got my unjury today... tasted Chocolate and it tasted good, gotta wait till lunch to taste Vanilla.

Looking at the list Dec 3rd is no longer in the lead... lol We got alota Dec 3,4,5,6 (lead) Welcome all new Bandster.... Dec is right around the corner.

Maybe easier to call me Anthony or Tony... lol I been trying to stick to a all liquid diet but it seem little hard... expecially later at night. Maybe I should modify the diet to consist some meat and veggi.

ya im from Irvine not far from San Diego. Does the doctor got you on all protien drink diet or mixed? Mine is all protien drink and lunch (drink w/ protien bar) well... good luck and hope to see more of your post on how you doing after surgery ;p

I'm from Sothern Cali also... I'm 32 year old, Male from the Irvine area and I will be having my surgery on Dec 3rd at UCI Medical.

sounds yummy cant wait to get home to taste mine ;p I have already tried couple different shake.. so i was hoping before Dec 3rd that I got a final one picked and onhand to drink postop.

Mine is finally coming in the mail today... i order couple samples of each flavor before I buy the big one. Most reviews people seem to like them Unjury. Good Luck on your Surgery =)

My doctor gave me a list of stuff that I need to do before surgery (1week before) like 1 week Pre-Op Diet and Vitamin and some pills like xlax to take day before surgery. Some people have said that they didnt have to do Pre-op diet and others will tell you they had to... I think it is best to do this because it supposely will shrink your liver and make it less slippery during surgery. I think it also good to get you used to the Liquid diet you going to be on after surgery awhile ;p

I'll be getting mine done in Irvine at UCI. Teaching school also so they have alot people on staff and everything was done fast =)

MissyDFE, I dont see those options also for Search or Advance Search but im sure if you have any question... you can place it in the search option and come up with something or start a new thread in forum it related to... This site has alota informative people but it sometime takes time before questions are answered or you may have to search for answer in prior threads. Chris... less then a week for big day =P I'm still on protien shake, but I dont seem to have the headache today. Which is good. Got back approval for vaction on Dec3-7.... didnt tell work it was for surgery yet ;x I'm sure im loosing some weight but got no scale at home =P i'll wait to step on a scale on day of surgery.

Not sure what area you are in southern cali but Dr. Ninh Nguyen at UCI. He has alota people working under him, so the test and stuff are done fast. I'm with Blue Cross of CA PPO and I got my approval in less then a week. Good Luck.

Mine is 47 and I will be banded on Dec 3rd. was approved right away by insurance =)

Day 4 - Monday Got headache still.... ya I hope these headaches are going to go away...

hi all, Im 32, 5'6" single male. I work as a computer tech for a big company. I made my choice to get surgery cause I was getting very tired being overweight for such a long time and with my sleep apeana problem... i would fall asleep at work couple times a day. hard to have employee respect you when you taking a nap... So my goal is to hit around 180 pound and I kinow this is going to take some work. I know that once I loose some weight that I will also feel more comfortable in working out. Dec 3rd... coming soon =O

My approval took less then a week to hear back from doctor office =) I havent figure out how much I will have to pay yet... They said I have 400 deductible (paid), they cover 80/20 up 2000$ individual out of pocket and after that it covered 100%... something like that

Well started today.... drank protien from Costco b,lx2,d.. didnt taste good but 1day down and counting.

I was told to start Pro-OP diet... so im offically starting Friday. My Unjury should arrive by then also... plus i bought some other kind of Protien drinks from Costco... So... Black Friday =P to Dec 3rd (surgery)
