Still losing weight, love handles gone and working on that pouch. Way to go! I went to the doctors yesterday and I am down 8 more pounds since last month! By my BP is still high though. The NP told me that she would like for me to be 50 less by February. Is she nuts? Sweet but nuts! I am not even going to set a goal like that and then be diappointed if I do not meet that goal. She said that this the honemoon phase and the best time to lose the most weight. We will see. It is good to see everyone is heading in the right direction.
Later Loser!

Congrats to everyone with their awesome weight lose. Can you believe that it is almost 2 or 3 months for some of us? It has been a very interesting ride. I will have my weigh in Monday and will update then. Keep pushing forward! It's all down hill from here.
Later losers!

Hey all - things have been pretty uneventful over here but as of today, I'm officially into the "overweight" category and no longer obese which is kind of a fun milestone. I'm down 45.5lbs since my the start of my pre-op diet on August 1st. Hoping to drop 4.5 more by my birthday in two weeks as 50lbs would be a nice celebration. That would put me 22 away from ONEderland and 33 away from a normal BMI. Most minutes that seems so achievable and some minutes, I get too excited and can't wait. Definitely need to pick it up on the exercise, though!
Hope you're all doing well!

I did enjoy dinner and no matter what will stick to my new routine and make it successful! ! Cheers

Hi all it's been awhile since I posted anything hope all are doing well in your weight loss. I have reach my first goal I wanted to be under 200 by my 2 month post-op and I have I am so happy, my clothes are fitting lose people can notice and I can too. I only weigh once a week. I think if I weigh more than that I will make myself crazy. So my start weight 240 now 197. I pray that everyone be successful in their journey. Until next time

Could I ask how much protein you get from the Cereal and milk? I am trying to find some different things. I was sleeved the same day as you, I still drink the Protein Drinks to be sure I get enough protein because I cannot eat enough food to get all my protein in. I don't mind them too much. I mix Unjury vanilla, GENEPRO, fat free milk and sugar free banana cream pudding mix and ice and I get 59 grams of protein before 7 am makes the rest of my day less stressful worrying about getting in my protein.

m4nurse reacted to Nevermind in What is your exercise regimen?
I walk 4 miles a day on some days but lately I've been going 1 1/2 - 2 hours on recumbent bike starting level 4 up to level 10. When I am done I look like I just got out of shower.... I am logging everything I eat. Still it's somewhat of a conundrum because I seem to be losing the same, if not less, weight as before I started exercising. The first 10-15 minutes is hard, then I get into it and enjoy it.
Also, I know it's good to rest a day but if I do, I am afraid I'll not get back so I don't miss any days....

m4nurse reacted to FairySleeve in What is your exercise regimen?
Since 10 days post-op I started with walking (faster and faster) One and a half hour everyday until it started to rain so I joined a gym near my work place where they have a few dancing workout classes so it became my workout regime.
Monday - L.I.A. (Low impact aerobic dance) 1 hour
Tuesday - rest
Wednesday- Sh'bam 45 minutes, Body balance (yoga&pilates) 1 hour
Thursday- rest
Friday- Zumba fitness 1 hour
Saturday - Sh'bam 45 minutes, weight lifting 1 hour
Sunday - Zumba 1 hour
The rest days I try walking around (shopping lol) to get 10,000 steps per day.
Now I'm addicted to dancing workout. If I couldn't go to the gym on my class day I feel so upset!

22 pounds in one month??? that sounds amazing to me! don't forget when you read posts about people losing much more than that: make sure you look at their starting weight, because the more you weigh the more you lose, but it's all proportional percentage-wise. please try not to compare yourself with anyone else, as we're all different. would you be disappointed if you read the latest best seller in 2 weeks and your friend read it in 1 week? the outcome will be the same. relax and enjoy the journey!

I'm sorry that so many people are having Constipation issues that was one of my fears prior to the procedure as I dealt with the issue during my pregnancy. I am happy to report that I am very regular in the bathroom department I have a BM every other day. Good luck to you all with that.

AVACADO! 10 grams of fiber in 1 cup! One of the most nutrient-dense foods, avocados are high in fiber and, ounce for ounce, top the charts among all fruits for folate. potassium, Vitamin E, and magnesium.
Half a California avocado has a really excellent overall nutrient profile. At 145 calories it contains approximately 2 grams of Protein, 6 grams of fiber, and 13 grams of fat, most of which (8.5 grams) is monounsaturated fat.
