still waiting on insurance approval. called today....still pending. this sucks!!! i just want to get the call saying...ok. approved! gggrrrrr

when you have found your sweet spot, do you need fills after that or are you done with fills and now just work the band? thanks!

everytime i look at the before and after pics thread, i start to cry. i mean, i can't wait to post my pics post surgery! it just makes me realize that i will have my life back and that i made the right decision....=)

I just got my tentative date of feb 26th. i started 6 months ago at 285 lbs. im 271 now. my goal is at least 150. i'm glad they started this new sections of threads. hope we can encourage each other!

I called insurance today. they said its still pending, but my surgeon's office has my tentative date scheduled for feb 26th! yea! now my nerves are really shot! i can't get the butterflies out! i can't imagine how i will feel with a concrete approval!

i had my paperwork submitted on wed to insurance and i can't wait to call tomorrow to see how it's going....i hate this waiting game!! how did u guys deal with it? any suggestions before i go insane??!! thanks

I am waiting on approval from my insurance. My doc said it will be either in feb or march if all goes well......the waiting game is horrible. hopefully i will be one of the "banded' people soon!

not for sure what your docs will say, but mine told me jenny craig, weight watchers, anything else like that DOESN'T count. its not medically supervised. sorry! hope you get a different answer!

well, i had my eye opening experience the other day. i have lost 10 lbs on my 6 month medically supervised diet, but i have started to gain again. anyway.......my boyfriend and i went to burger king for lunch ( i know, bad in itself) and i had a king size whopper meal. not good to begin with....but then i still wasn't satisfied so i had ANOTHER value meal in the same sitting!!! i have never done that before. that was basically the end for me. im so glad i decided to get the band. my paperwork is being submitted in 2 weeks, so hopefully they say yes. anyway..just thought i would share. what was your eye opening experience??? thanks for letting me vent.
