Good now I don't feel nearly as bad for the fact that everyone at work thinks i'm having an appendix removed and outside of that only my girlfriend knows.
I just didn't want to deal with all the questioning and this is also a busier time of the year for my fam so I don't want to burden them with worrying during the surgery.

I'm still holding out on the fill until I get a better feel for things. I can take down Soups, burritos, and meat well but pudding, yogurt, fruit gives me trouble. I'm still losing weight so I'm not going to rush things

Don't look at the short term "prize" that is in front of you. Keep your eyes locked at the reward at the end of the journey

I will be cooking all of it and will purée what I can haha
However I doubt I'll be able to resist turkey. I'll have to at least try one piece.

Dimples that sounds closer to my experience and I got a lot better 7 days out. Have you thought about going back to a liquid diet? That may help

After a rough night and sketchy morning I was finally able to take Fluid without a tube. No sips though. GulpeS or else I will toss them up.

Down 12 lbs since I started my unofficial pre op diet that started a week before my pre op. Feeling great but I've been gutting a building that I will be remodeling in a few months and I've been starving.
9 more days haha

Starting my pre-pre op diet tomorrow morning. Only 19 days to go.

I can actually answer this because my husband and I have been tracking it.
Pre-op we'd spend close to $300/week at the grocery store for a family of 3. Then we'd spend close to $100/week eating out.
Post op, I'm spending closer to $150 - $200 on groceries, my son and husband are eating more leftovers, and *if* we go out to eat, we are spending closer to $50.
So yes. The savings is significant. However. I'm spending that savings on undergarments, sweaters, and tights. I'm avoiding purchasing pants at the moment because my size is changing often enough that I'm sticking to winterizing my dresses. Dresses are easier to alter than pants are.

Um no. Not the diarrhea. Loose stools come with a liquid diet but not horrible diarrhea. That with the nausea and lightheadedness could be a stomach bug. Call your doctor and see what they say.

November 12 for me. im not on a liquid diet(except for Protein Shakes for breakfast) for pre op but I plan on busting out my juicer for the last 9 days. I'd like to lose whatever I can to make the surgery that much easier for the doc
